It's time to give you some news about the development of Gofile.
The most important information concerns the network infrastructure and the servers. For a few months now, we've been in discussions with a datacenter in order to manage our own infrastructure and no longer rent servers from external partners. It's now a reality, Gofile has its own space in a professional datacenter.
Servers have already been installed and a few TB of data have been migrated there to test the scalability. For the moment, everything is going well. Being in a datacenter and managing our own hardware will greatly improve the scalability of the platform.
Note that this data migration will cause a change in the download links in some cases. Those who use direct links for their application may need to update their links.
Concerning the website, many adjustments have been made since the last big update two months ago and some new features have been released. There is still a lot of work to be done on the user experience part. In particular, on the possibility to move files or to upload a whole folder with all its content.
Gofile has only grown since its creation.

I would love to get back to seeing a list of uploads rather than folders which have proven useless for me. I would love to see the ability to search and sort with meaningful results

2021-08-26 13:06:02 +0000 UTCAny idea why I'm only able to get 400 kbs download speeds. Even though I have fiber internet. I'm in the US. Really sucks because I would like to keep your service but kinda unusable at that speeds.
