Hi everyone,

A few days ago an important update has been deployed. This update is the most complete since the beginning and is a one step closer to the final state I want to reach for the platform.

The changes concern both the website and the servers.

Concerning the servers, the new database has been implemented. The performance of this one is considerably better than the old one. The database was a problem for the performance. This has been fixed and the performance of Gofile is now much better than before.

The way the files are managed internally has been totally redesigned. The new way makes Gofile a complete file manager, in addition to being a simple sharing platform.

New servers have been deployed and the load balancing algorithm has been improved as well as many bug fixes and optimizations.

Regarding the website, you may have noticed that many things have changed.

The new design and user experience is temporary. This is only a first version that had to be released quickly in order to be in line with the new changes on the server side.

The idea is to keep the simplicity of an easy-to-use sharing platform, while allowing more advanced use for those who need it.

I already have a lot of feedback for future improvements.
