Accessory Loader

My first Aprototypical release!  Thank you to everyone who joined this tier!!!!  Releases will range from semi-useful to pointless, and they will all be buggy or broken in some way...  sooo... thanks for the extra support I guess?   (LOL!).  Seriously, though, I think this will be a really fun tier.  VaM is a lot of fun to tinker with, even when the experiments don't go to plan. :)

I'm going to try to format Aprototypical releases in some consistent way.. but in keeping with the spirit of this tier, I may also not! :P

What is It?

Accessory Loader loads items from Asset Bundles and attaches them to a character without needing to use Custom Unity Assets. I rarely use character accessories because creating multiple CUAs, loading the bundle and item, placing them, then loading a script to scale the XYZ independently is kind of a chore.  With Accessory Loader, you can select a body part, then browse to an asset bundle, select the item inside, and pose, rotate, and scale all in the same plugin.  Accessories reload when a save loads (it can take a little time, especially if the asset bundles are large).

What's Broken?

The UI doesn't always clear correctly and quickly gets cluttered with extra sliders.  Also, while not really a bug, items don't always stay synced up correctly when the character moves (similar to the movement issues that happen when you link a CUA to a body part).  It would need a custom transform solution to do a better job.  Some asset bundles don't load correctly/at all.

Will it Ever get Fixed?

I'm on the fence with this section because the answer will usually be 'nope.' :-P  But given it's the first Aprototypical release, I think it's worth opining a bit.  Most of my prototypes never get finished.  Sometimes they just don't work out like I'd hoped, but it is most often a matter of time.  I'll usually have a few things in progress at once and, eventually, I'll have to choose something to focus on and finish.  There just isn't time to see them all through.  I'm hoping this tier will help with that and, maybe, a few more things will get completed that otherwise wouldn't have.  That said, I want to set the expectation that these releases may never be further developed.  Hopefully they are still fun to mess with! :)

Thank you so much and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!
