Waiting for next chapter. Does anyone care to comment? How will this play out?

While most of you will not agree I still think Bob is going to travel with Jess as adviser & protector. I think he will sell the idea to Jess and she in turn will get Tom to agree that is a good idea. This if it happens will give Bob almost exclusive access to Jess and almost eliminate Tom's influence on her. I could see Jess and Bob doing Zoom calls to Tom of them having sex too feed his kink and keep him happy. Again I feel Bob could control Jess and while not pimping her could advise her when she may need to give a little extra to close a deal as her business grows. I do think Jess will change and while not being a slut she will grow to understand the power of her body when dealing with people and use it to her advantage. She will out grow Tom quickly and only keep him around for Her and Bob's entertainment and at times I think they will abuse and laugh at him.

I agree with all your points, EW is doing a fantastic job with this series

Gotta say this is likely my favorite chapter so far. At least up there with 2, 3, and 9. Also, the pacing is fantastic. Each new section within some chapters effortlessly glide over days. This chapter specifically takes course seemingly throughout the entire week (three weeks actually, wow. Just got to this part). • I mentioned this in the discord when talking about the three ladies, but Jess is so easy to root for. Describing what she felt with Tom when she told him her events from Ch. 9 as electricity that lasted to Wednesday and intensified her connection with Tom. Also her reflection that things DID get stale but are improving now that their bond has strengthened and realizing Tom was never avoiding her but aiming for their goal of their future show just that. • Still feel the same about this and would not mind in the slightest for Jess including Derek and/or Brandon for other future interactions and her admitting that her experience with Derek "exceeding her most optimistic expectations" gives me hope for those possibilities. Wouldn't be surprised if the dinner includes dancing where they perhaps switch partners and if Derek using his hands to guide Jess into proper technique are the tip of the iceberg for him then the personalized sessions sound great. • Would love if the "sex being a source of connection" stays true throughout the series for Jess and Tom. Really could help in that although she's certainly having fun and could be looking to go further in the future, that what she has with Tom is different. Also helps from turning this into a story where Jess becomes a crazed cock-worshiper who has got to bang everything that moves. • I know it could very well be Bob playing up his act, but there's these little moments where he seems genuinely appreciative like when Jess mentions she's going to Savannah and he says "That's a big opportunity for you" and "Just paying some of the kindness you and Tom have shown me". The warnings about Webb as well. He's obviously leveraging himself and detracting other suitors but still seems friendly/even fatherly enough that I'm able to look past it. Guess that also goes to show how good he is a picking a guise. • Glad to see Bob still unable to compose himself and even be surprised when Jess asks him to apply sunscreen to her back. Also shows Jess is relishing in her teasing and knows how to use her allure even to get the small things for now. • The pool part shows that Jess is now taking Bob's physical appearance and touch into account now. We all know Bob will eventually bed Jess at some point but this moment aids in Jess's future motivations of choosing someone she's becoming more and more familiar with. ☆ Cool to note the immediate and gradual escalation in Derek's touching at yoga being for proper positioning acting somewhat as a stepping stone for Jess the next day to now being the one to ask Bob to massage her. Also when Jess chooses the halter top over the white string then choosing the white string after. Cool. • Bob telling Tom that Jess told him about the club was pretty insightful and abrupt (I think in a good way). Probably revealing to us (the readers) that Tom isn't solely his target and that once Jess has opened up Bob will be aiming to also apply pressure to her too with certain information that she wouldn't want out. Possibly even setting up to pit Tom and Jess against each other as he would make it seem they're breaking each other's rules. Also states again that "he's just the tenet" to reiterate that the stakes for when choosing Bob as the potential option will make sense because their lower. • The back-and-forth playful teasing at the 2nd pool encounter (maybe the 26th at most if you count those 3 weeks and five days actually) is exactly what I'm here for. ☆ Spit-ballin here feel free to ignore. Perhaps there's a possible interaction while at Savannah that fits with the theme of gradual escalation. Maybe she seeks a full-body massage while there and even though hands are reaching more places, they still don't hit the same as ones with Bob do. Possibly leading to Jess, once she returns, to allow Bob to see all or at least more of her. • Bob making that blatant remark about Webb being the kind of man who's "predictable" and "direct" is almost hilarious. Also another act of leveraging himself ofc since he's obviously been purposely "indirect" in his approach for Jess. ☆ Side Note. He's also unironically being considerate into his approach of essentially letting Jess be the one to make moves first. Where as Webb's approach (and perhaps his co-workers) is probably going to more predatory. Bob is too and it's certainly an act ofc but cool note. • Bob warns Jess about not letting Chris get her alone and outside of professional settings. I actually think it'd be great for Jess to find herself in this situation (willingly or out of coincidence) to show that she's capable of handling herself and in complete control of the specific situation. That even when odds become stacked against her, that she's still able to winkut. Just strengthen her as a character and to tease, for in the future, that she can prove Bob wrong. I guess I'm spit-ballin again. • Bob mentions "two men looking out for her but only one sees the picture." is a nicely and already contradicted statement. Tom does know (or at least has a feeling) Bob has an angle and possibly even knows he's being tricked in their talks. But still comes down to "Well Bob makes the most sense anyhow." Although he agrees with him, nice to see Tom have strengths to his character too. Chinook and Near River made great points in regards to Webb as a prospect. We and perhaps even more readers agree in that he always wasn't going to be an option simply because it would be a direct contradiction of Jess's goal to be respected in her line of work and could even damage her reputation too. - Her being a former model plays into this too because if she wanted a career where her body got her respected and paid, she would've easily chose to stay on that path. She didn't, so that goes to show that Jess is eager and ambitious to prove she's more than that in regards to Webb and the other suitors at her place of work. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy her still using her looks at her job but mainly as a show of confidence and presence. ☆ Another spit-ball, feel free to ignore. Mentioned this before here and before too but Bob really seems like someone broken down from his divorces and his perception of marriage. Specifically in those small moments when Jess notices a wrinkle when Bob talks about his past. I really really see the potential for a redemption arc or receiving new perspective on how he views women. Specifically in that he believes (one of the earlier chapters i believe) he'll be able to usurp Tom and lead Jess astray. Perhaps when he sees the Jess and Tom's bond have actually strengthened (as mentioned earlier) instead of what he expects he'll be given a new light on his view. Final. Very much agree with Near River, TBT is far and away my favorite out of the three. Ch. 10 is an overall wonderful chapter. I get there's people wanting to get to more sex already (Black Belt Affair is right there for them btw) but it's really unique that you're able to string us along up to 10 without it.

Haven't read this chapter yet (sounds good tho) but I feel chap. 11 will have Jess be very tempted with Webb but she'll hold back bc he hits too close to home and she doesn't want to mix her professional life with her personal one. But this will still push Jess to be even more eager to open up so maybe around 12 (like you said). But I wouldn't mind seeing it unravel for a few sections. Like starting off with kissing/hand stuff on Ch. 12 and gradually escalating to full-on sex maybe in another chapter. EW is very good at stringing us along so I feel he's very capable of doing such. I won't hate/disagree on anyone wanting it quicker tho

When does everyone think things will turn sexual between Bob and Jess. My money is on chapter 12 after she comes back from a successful trip to Savannah all because of Bob’s advice. Thiugh I do think there is an outside shot of Bob getting some action ( I don’t think full sex) during the last pool date before her trip. Things have been escalating so I could see hands and mouths being used if things go just right. I also suppose EW could pull the rug and have there be a set back, but I don’t see that as likely.
