Well it wasn't my intention to insult ya and I apologize if you felt that way. Obviously going back forth on this wasn't worth either of our times so I'm willing to let bygones be bygones and move on. I lowered my tier to prove I'm not some entitled demanding base collector and I'm willing to delete my comments here to clear the air if you're willing to do the same

It only makes sense if you wanna reward people that are currently around and punish people who aren't i.e. fomo. If it's as simple as you just don't want to sell your old stuff then that's it. Just too bad so sad for people that weren't here earlier I guess

Any potential bases I get or don't get would've just been a plus and the way you do them was just something I was curios about because of how little sense it made, that's all. Leakers/scrapers will always find a way to leak/scrape and people under 18 will always find a way to view your work whether it's private bases here or work you/others post publicly on other sites but if that's your current reasoning then by all means stick to the current system, good on you for looking out for minors.

There’d be no point in my creating new content if everyone who subbed wanted OLD content, I’m happy with the way things are and so are plenty of others. Children can easily access NSFW bases on those websites, it’s easier for me to filter minors here, so no I’m not ever going to sell rewards that were made for my patrons. Oh and all my bases do have watermarks, that doesn’t stop people from removing them.

It's not that hard to do and in all my experience buying bases seems to be the norm. If you're concerned about people not giving credit you can add in a watermark layer and a disclaimer saying "Please Do Not Redistribute" and/or "Please Do Not Remove Watermark". Also if you're concerned about scraper sites you could still do dms, just give people the ability to get the older bases somehow. Again permanently vaulting content seems extreme imo when there's other arguably better ways to go about it that not only would net you an additional source of income but would make a quite a few people happy too.

2025-02-02 22:06:56 +0000 UTCThe leaks where by a scraper website so I send them individually privately through DM's now, and it's unfair to me if a patreon where to sign up and get ALL of my bases for $10, sticker/pin/merch can be monthly exclusives so why cant I? Before you say "artificial scarcity", that can be said for any monthly exclusive content. It works for my schedule also, so that's why they are monthly exclusives, I can keep track of WHO has my bases this way as I can corelate the base month with the sub month, I'm unsure why you subbed if you don't like this system, as there's multiple warnings before confirming your sub as this is how it works? I don't owe anyone any of my older content, it's no different to base artists only selling a limited amount of their linework's or a limited amount of monthly merchandising. My patreon works just fine and has for years. Would you complain if a seller removed their base from a market place just because you didn't know it existed before hand?

And just because you've been doing it like this for years doesn't mean it's a good system. I'm not trying to be confrontational but again it's not very fair to new people and you do seem to get a lot of complaints about this system...
