Is Being In A Specific Niche Actually Beneficial As A Musician?
Added 2019-08-20 06:04:17 +0000 UTCAs someone that's been in very specific niche [geek pop, though you may have noticed I've changed this] and known others that have as well... I've both been asked about this and thought about it a lot.
I think the commonly propulgated opinion on the matter leaves a lot to be desired... Especially as "learning the hard way" can really be quite emotionally draining and have a huge [potentially very negative] impact on your career.
