As the players battled Fanglord and his allies, Diane succumbed to a powerful urge to touch the Nyx amulet on the table beside her. The artifact transported her back to the ancient chapel that had once occupied the structure that is now the Dancing Duchess. There she encountered the Dark Goddess herself! Nyx embraced Diane as a long-lost daughter and charged her with a holy mission; to lend her support to the goddess’ followers and help them drive the infidels from her sacred ground. To accomplish this mission, Nyx transformed Diane into some sort of winged creature and returned her to the Dancing Duchess…
