The Tuesday To-Do! - Week 17 - Yeehaw!

Goodness what a week! This is going to be a short one but I've still got some things to say!

Extra Projects

This week, like last, was DOMINATED by Extra Projects! That was for sure to be expected though, as this was the week of Banjo-Tooie!

Before I even go into it I want to thank everyone who participated, donated and spread the word! ESPECIALLY TEECHEP! Thanks to all of you Cincinnati Tradition will be able to help students who can't afford tuition this year learn and march!

At Rehearsal on Sunday the Corps thanks all of us with a fun chant! It was great! Also Blazen joined the Drum Corps, he is playing Euphonium (Fancy Baritone)

Since we hit the goal we will be getting back to the grindstone and finishing it off! We honestly didn't expect to raise the goal, WHICH IS DUMB OF US BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL AWESOME, But Gerce and Blazen had things to do on Sunday and also I wanted to go to CT rehearsal so we stopped.

We will be back to finish it off on Monday the 3rd! I have no idea how long it is going to take, but YEA. Also we will be taking normal Adler based donations again! Sorry for the weird day, but we are getting stabbed with the Covid 2 on Thursday of that week, so I am probably not going to be coherent on Thursday and Friday.

I think that's all I have for Banjo stuff, it was fun, we did the thing. YAY!

Adler Animates Fire Safety

All I really did this week Adler Animates wise was setup the studio for puppet green screen, which, spoilers for next week's Tuesday to do, was WAY MORE WORK THAN EXPECTED. Getting the Chroma Key just right is VERY HARD with the LED light panels I have, so many tests are needed, and my camera keeps dying because it's just sitting on and it's a mess.

IN OTHER NEWS, Animation will continue and after that I need to film the Roomba and ROB for a short featuring them! YAY!

Might end up buying EVEN MORE LIGHTS, lord you are all going to be able to see my house from space soon with the amount of lights in this place.

Mental Well-being and "In Real Life" Segment

Banjo took a LOT out of all of us. It seems silly, but playing one game for three days after waking up is a little rough on the psyche. BUT deciding to stop was the best decision for us. After that we had a great Sunday!

I am starting to feel bad that Adler Animates is taking so long, I know it's been almost a year since the last one, but figuring out this new format is the most important thing. The old way of doing Adler Animates was not sustainable and I need this time to figure it out. STILL I feel bad, and I promise it's coming.

It felt very nice to go to rehearsal this week, I love playing my horn and sort of turning my brain on in a different way! We are going to be performing at DCI this year, if you wanna come out!

Now onto Week 18!

This week is dedicated to getting as much of Adler Animates done as possible! With is being drum corps season I am going to be working a lot during the week, which is totally fine.

Roombo and ROB will need to be recorded as well as the puppet scenes. I'm going to get out my 3D Skills here and try my best on the 3D Adler Model, if all else fails I can throw it at Alex, but I don't want to! (He made the rig and knows 3D so well)

I'm hoping after these few Adler Animates to get back onto the Metal Detector, I may use the Bug model from that on a few little skits for Adler Animates to test the rig out. WHO KNOWS!

We are starting Double Weekends for Cincinnati Tradition this weekend, so hopefully I can keep my brain together for these next weeks, I like being busy so we are good to go!
