The Tuesday To-Do! - Week 11 - Getting back on Track

WEEK 11 OVERVIEW

Blazen had Sunday Monday off this week, so I'm a little behind on work. BUT, I am going to be picking up those hours on Wednesday and Thursday!

Extra Projects and Studio Cleaning up

So this week I did a painting live stream to see how that would go! While I had a ton of fun viewership wasn't really where I expected, but I think it was a great exercise in using the Studio space and testing out all the work I have been doing on getting that area ready!

most likely will only being doing a painting stream around once a month, as the amount of work to setup didn't equal the benefits, but I really enjoyed it all the same!

I painted Rood on an old Bill Cosby Album and it looks great!

Starting to wonder if live streams are worth the effort anymore, it seems to take a lot of time out of my week and they haven't been performing nearly as well. While they are fun for the few who watch, I'm trying to figure out the cost/benefit of them. I want to primarily be a video channel after all. not sure, we will just have to wait and see!

Adler Animates Fire Safety

Been getting the Adler Animates Fire Safety video rolling FINALLY. It has taken a long time to get our house to a presentable level, but we finally did it! We filmed the live action segments yesterday and I am going to be editing them today! Our first episode is going to be about Stop Drop and Roll! So be sure to get your skits in soon!

The filming went so smoothly because of having the extra space in the house!

Roller Coaster Tycoon

Swamp cove went over VERY WELL! Very Fun Park. I feel the hype has died on Roller Coaster Tycoon, so I am not sure if I will return to it after we finish Corkscrew Follies. Again, I think people are getting busy again with Covid vaccines popping up and viewership is declining. It is also for sure in part to it being an old thing at this point. I'll let you all know what the plan is in the next few weeks.

Roll Fur Initiative

The Storytelling in Rollfur has been SO FREAKIN GOOD. Like every episode has been a BANGER the last few weeks, go check it out!

Mental Wellbeing and "In Real Life" Segment

After going through the hours this week, I am feeling a lot of things. Not sure if I am using my time effectively with all the streaming I have been doing. I feel that it has become white noise and no one cares anymore. I may stop streaming for a bit and focus more on video content. One of the hardest things about YouTubing is figuring out when something needs to come to an end, and being okay with that.

It's felt very good to start working on videos again, and I am hoping the new camera and the new space are going to enhance the production a lot!

We have some really exciting opportunities that are in the works that I am excited to share with all of you, but I'll also need your help! More on that soon!

Them move is practically over, but it's all the little stuff now which is annoying.

Now onto Week 11!

So we have some VERY EXCITING news, and we are going to need your help in getting the word out.

We are in the process of finding a location for a Brick and Mortar studio space! We have a couple ideas of where, but we are still looking. This week we should be able to go out with a realtor and spot out a few locations. We have this one in mind, here is a simple picture!

The goals for the space would be.

• Studio space where we have dedicated space to record.
• A way for me to get out of the house and have more work-life balance.
• A place to rent out as Studio Space if local people would like to use it.
• Have a few little merch things people can buy if we have walk-ins and foot traffic.
• Create a Queer friendly space in our community to help inspire others to create.
• Possibly create a few workstations that people could use as a co-work.

Obviously there are a lot more details, but if this does come to fruition we would need to raise more on Patreon per month, with the goal being to eventually not have to use patreon at all! when the store opens we will have a permanent mural or pace where all the current patrons names will be shown forever!

In other news, we are getting started on the Adler Animates Episode, and I have CT this Sunday! I'm hoping to get the house practically all the way picked up, and we should be good to go!
