The Tuesday To-Do! - Week 3 - New Horizons

Welcome to the Tuesday To-Do! This is a thing I am going to try and do once a week to let you all know what I worked on, And What I am going to work on!

WEEK 3 OVERVIEW

For those of you who don't know, I actually clock my time working! I try to stay within 40 hours, otherwise I will overwork myself which is NOT GOOD! My Weeks also start on Friday, as Blazen usually has Wednesday and Thursday off, and I try and take the same days off if I can! Here is this weeks Hours!

So, let's dive into this weeks Dones!

THE METAL DETECTOR

This week I worked VERY HARD on the Rig of "Bug" for the Metal Detector!

This was a lot of fun, and it was nice to get back on the horse of rigging! It's fun to see just how much better I am getting at it with every subsequent rig! I have also included a file of the rig for you if you wanna try and open it! It has some 3D Objects that require Maya to render, so it won't be able to be exported on your end, but it may be fun to look at all the same!

Speaking of 3D I also learned how to use some 3D assets in the rig! This way I don't have to redraw things like props or hair for every angle! doing a combination 2D and 3D rig has SO MANY benefits that I can't even begin to sya how much faster it will be to animate this little guy! It was a little difficult to setup, but with the help of Toon Boom we made it work! And by Toon Boom I literally mean Toon Boom reached out to me on twitter! NEAT!

ADLER ANIMATES - FIRE SAFETY

Things on the Adler Animates train have been a little slower, but for good reason. I am trying to figure out just how exactly the episodes will be laid out, along with waiting on a few parts and pieces for the episode! I ordered A LOT of Laserdiscs to be used as interstitial footage that I am VERY EXCITED about! Here is a pic of what I ordered!

It seems silly, but these are WONDERFUL for B-Roll, and I'll use them wisely! Also Lazerdisc slaps, the end.

On a more "Actually productive" note, I have began work on the new Blazen Rig for Adler Animates! The one he has currently is from like two years ago and it sucks and I hate it. BLEGH! so we are making a new one!

Please pardon the bird weiner joke, our lovely Crew worked on this. I kept it in because it makes me giggle. TEEHEE. Looking forward to starting on rigging with this! it will be a BIG CHALLENGE, but I will gladly accept!

Roller Coaster Tycoon

My LORD we are never going to beat this are we? Adrenaline Heights sucks and I hate it. My friend Matt gave me some wonderful advice though, so hopefully we will make it work!

Mikeh did an AMAZING job coding the new Grow Command! And I am so thankful to those who stick with watching, viewership has been low as of late, and we have a lot more to go, but hopefully we can spread the word and get those numbers back up!

Roll Fur Initiative

Gosh dang Barovia! I wanna not be in Barovia! but I like Barovia as a player so YAY! Not much here to say other than our lovely Beeb the Robin slaps at DnD!

Mental Wellbeing

I have been doing pretty well in all honesty! getting back on the swing of things after FNY has really helped! Love that even SO MUCH, but it takes like two months out of my year to plan! WORTH IT THOUGH! Thanks for understanding everyone! Been watching a lot of Technology Connections on YouTube, and to be honest streaming on Discord my work is very motivating!

The moving process has been very AHHHHH, I just wanna be moved the end

Now onto Week 4!

On Wednesday and Thursday, Blazen and I are going to West Virginia to go Skiing at Snowshoe! We had been wanting to go to a bigger ski hill for like two years and we are finally going! We are taking our Fursuits too, so we will get some really fun pictures there!

Work will continue when we get back on The Metal Detector, and hopefully I will have the Big Rig basically finished, I'll probably start work on the alien after that and the crab after that since both of those only show up a few times in the board the rigs don't need to be as INTENSE.

I'd like to get started on tackling the new Blazen rig as well, LOTS OF RIGGING AS OF LATE. I also need to go through the Footage for the Fire Safety video and start making PBS Style interstitials with the Laserdisc footage.

Hopefully with RCT we will finally freakin beat Adrenaline Heights, but I have a BAD FEELING.

Roll Fur will continue as normal! I have a Cincinnati Tradition Online Rehearsal so hopefully that doesn't interfere!

And I think that's everything! I hope this helps shed more light on what I am working on, and I can't wait to go to a con again so I can see you all!
