I was not overwhelmed by this duo. Both are great singers, but, as is often the case when a show winner pairs with an established star at the end of the season, the result is often not particularly satisfying. Jordan's vocal skills were very nice, but the song just did not click with me.

I was impressed with Jordan Smith, even though I don't think this gave us a true idea of his talent. I am going to follow all the links below to hear more. After what Tammy said (and the other recommendations for it as well), i hope you'll consider putting his Mary Did You Know on your Christmas list for this year! I also kept hearing connections with "With or without you." As always, great r/a.

Not in pressed-in the least - love them all you want IDC but remember this is about my feelings- not yours and I would never judge you for what inspires your musical taste!

I'm a bit embarrassed to say, although i knew this performance, i had never made the connection between the two🫣 Without You is a nice song, but not my favourite. I completely agree with you that a solo performance would be a better showcase of Jordan Smith's talent! 👌🏽Some performances where Jordan's unique voice shine is Hallelujah, Chandelier, Somebody to Love, Over The Rainbow, and for Christmas Mary Did You Know ( a collaboration with Tommee Profitt ), O Holy Night.🎄 Ave Maria ( Schubert ) is also beautiful.🎵❤️ Thank you so much for your brilliant analysis of Without You!
