Does it make you feel any better that this usage dates back to at least the 7th century? And is a clinical psychiatric condition in which a human believes they are changing into any animal, not just a wolf (and most commonly a horse, in fact)? (I'm assuming that "language evolves" isn't an argument you'll accept, but at least in this case it evolved more than a millennium ago, making this not "a lazy act of ignorance", but in fact a fairly ordinary "act of using a word in a way that people understand it". i.e., "communicating")

Personal Pet Peeve here. I really wish they did not lump together were creatures with the term Lycanthrope. Lycan means Wolf. Calling a werebear a Lycanthrope hurts my brain. They're better termed Therianthrope or breaking them down by correct term (Ursathrope for a werebear for example). Lumping them all together as Lycanthropes is a truly lazy but-it's-always-been-this-way act of ignorance. While this doesn't take away from the 'zine, this is a pet peeve I can't just stay quiet about.

Gotcha. It doesn’t explicitly say “that you have” on pg. 14, so I found it a bit ambiguous.
