An X-tremely Goofy Comic (WIP)

Recently I’ve had to remove hundreds of hours worth of work from this platform due to some characters not being “unmistakably adults”.
If I haven’t made characters look like adults, then I’ve failed in a major way. I used to pride myself in being able to capture the essence of a character, age them up, but still keep them recognizable. Take Roxanne here: in the source material she is flat, short and skinny. The changes I made to make her look college age was to increase her breast size, add some curves and place her in a mature environment: College. All that said, my opinion isn’t the one that matters, it’s yours. Please let me know how i can be a better creator for you. Does this go too far? Is it not apparent?
There were lots of artworks I didn’t understand why the had to go. I’m learning and it’s unfortunate that I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Being a NSFW Disney artist had an unexpected downside in that many of the characters and princesses are underage.
Please let me know if characters appear too young. When drawing, I’m too close to the piece to always be able to tell. I want any depiction i do to be “unmistakably adult” without comprising my style.

Is there more comic planned where that might be explained? Or just more casual nudity shenanigans in general? As for critiques about apparent age with the comic while you say in your comment she's in college, it doesn't actually say that anywhere in the comic itself, and I don't really see any other cues that would help show this is college and not high school. She does mention dorms, but that's not until the end, and I think with this sort of thing you want to hammer the setting home early and often. You could maybe do stuff like start off with "I don't know what's going on today IN COLLEGE", and maybe refer to the class with college sounding name, like "She showed up to our ECON 101 class naked!" and "The PROFESSOR and students didn't seem to notice." Just really hammer the point home that it's college. Also, instead of him checking on her in P.E. class you could say something like "checked on her at the CAMPUS GYM" As for physical character traits, while giving the character more pronounced curves is a good start other things like pubic hair can help sell age as well, but that does tend to run afoul of people's kink being shaved. Changing clothes is also a usual signifier of age, but that's also tricky when you are often drawing the characters older. then there's tweaking designs of the characters, with different hairstyles or jewelry, facial hair, etc, but then you can run into issues of them being recognizable. Anyway, you probably already know all that, and not sure what of it could really be applied to this comic. If you want to get more technical there's probably some kind of ratio of head size to body size that reads more or less mature. I'm not a good enough artist to know the details there, but might be something to look into. I hope some of that was helpful, and sucks that you got hit with all the takedowns. Glad you're going to keep going and not let it discourage you. :)

2023-05-11 03:29:41 +0000 UTCHonestly it seems like most platforms will still flag known young characters even if you slap huge boobs on them. You might have to do a clear comparison in a SFW piece showing your style of them as they appear in the movie and then after you aged them up. Even then you'll likely still get flagged, but you can only do so much without making an entirely new character that vaguely looks like the one you are wanting to draw. As for the comic, I don't know of a college that has a P.E. class, but I don't look into a lot of different colleges. Maybe have her practicing with a cheerleader group or something to cheer for Max with an X-Games competition.
