Video Preview: Mail (August 2024)

This is the first video I'm doing the method I mentioned where this is not the final release version. This is missing the printout at the end and I still need to film that to add it (partially because the printer I use for that had to make a cameo in the video). Since this video won't be public I was able to disable ads on it for supporters too which I've never liked having (but I would definitely forget to re-enable them when making it public). This will also allow me to schedule the final version to automatically release whenever it is done which will be really nice right now.
It was a little soon to be filming a mail video, but I think I mentioned in a supporter update that I don't want to have unopened packages if I'm going to be moving. So I decided it was best to just film it now and have a clean slate. This is the last video I have filmed ahead for now because I've been focused on searching and packing. I've been avoiding taking on bigger projects and just haven't had the head space for it with everything I'm doing in the background for the office. I need to do another supporter update still to let you know what's going on, but I'll say I haven't decided on a new place yet but there is no outcome where I don't have to move the office or storage, or both. I've been trying to do both, but that has complicated stuff in a way I'd rather wait to explain in the update video. Hopefully I can get some time set aside to film that soon.

Very interesting assortment of items! I never know what I'm about to see during one of your mail videos because the generosity of your community knows no bounds. I especially liked the posters, such an interesting glimpse into the past. I wish you the best in your search for a new location. I hope you can find an even better location and some moving help so you can start your next chapter! I'm looking forward to the next patreon update, but don't stress about it. Minor video notes (probably can overlay text corrections): @17:45: You said "Missouri" but meant "Michigan" @5:00 Another sentence on what the REXCPM does would have been welcome

That lettering on the blue button on the printer just looks to me like a visual example of a nice print with a fresh cartridge vs a crappy print with an empty one.
