Talking about the staircase/slide thing, I watched you discover it in Hogwarts Legacy in the Hufflepuff room. I'm playing the game as a Ravenclaw (when I play, which is quite rare), and they have a pair of suits of armor guarding the girls' stairway instead. If I try to go down those stairs they block me with their spears. It's probably different there because the dormitories are below the common room, so a slide would just leave you trapped at the bottom. If I ever finish the game as a Ravenclaw I'd like to play through the other houses just to see all the common rooms, and maybe play some female characters.

2025-12-24 23:47:55 +0000 UTCwhen it comes to what i said about harry’s situation vs. neville’s, i just feel that losing your parents, while tough, at least has some closure to it. i lost my dad very young, and it was terrible, but i truly believe if it was a “neville situation” and my dad was still alive but was incapable of living a normal life, it would be worse than just not having him. that’s from my perspective of losing him as a child though, if something like that happened to my mother now i would definitely have a harder time saying which situation is “worse”. i won’t say more about neville until a later chapter! sorry editing again as i finish watching! i’ve always gotten the impression that when they do the head travel with the floo network, it’s literally their head. i assumed the movies took liberties to make it incorporated into the fire so it wasn’t so jarring to the audience, but in Goblet of Fire when harry sees Mr. Diggory’s head in the fireplace for the first time, he doesn’t describe it as fiery and states how jarring it is too look at. one more edit lol the new full cast audiobooks are the full books! there’s a narrator who reads everything that isn’t dialogue and the cast is absolutely killing it. king robert from game of thrones voices hagrid, hugh laurie (dr. house) voices dumbledore, and you’re correct that our new hermione is the voice of hermione.
