SPOILER ALERT! - If you have not watched the show before, don't read the following review until you have! :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My GOODNESS, this one went at break neck speed! XD Lovely seeing another one of the Air Temples (despite the... 'renovations').

Sokka coming up trumps! But it may end up back... 'firing'? - in the future!

Katara accidentally swallowing a bug is disgusting. XD

Hope you had a great week, guys!!

Hi Zachary! Could you do me a favour, please? Can you check this video to see if it includes the missing moment or not? I just want to make 100% sure because reacting to it! :) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CvAF6SgwyyHBP4Ah-t1sg1t5kGO7h144/view?usp=sharing

It bugs me how they're so disrespectful to the temple. Like sure the Airbenders have been gone for 100 years, but that doesn't mean they should just wreck the place. 😓

The games have some good 'elements' to them but all suffer from low budget/rushed development and being made just to make money from kids mainly. I'd recommend watching some videos on them if you like ATLA there are some well made videos on them. The latest ATLA game is insanely horribly bad. Oh and the Korra game has amazing combat and a really fun game but can't be bought anywhare anymore I think.

End of season 2 is fine with me as well ❤️

I think it would be perfectly fine to watch the movie after season 2 as you’ve suggested, Ive watched everything in the avatar universe and don’t see how you would be getting spoiled on anything.

I agree that this episode moves a bit too quickly and for that reason it is probably my least favorite episode in the 2nd half of the 1st season, but it is still good! We learn a lot about how Aang sees his people and Sokka shines.

"This would make an amazing videogame" Funnily enough, the videogame is infamous for being one of the easiest 1000 Gamerscore in all of Xbox history, achievable by button mashing within the first five minutes. No idea how good the rest of the game is XD

seperating the final of season 1 is fine. Do whatever you want to do

Deadshot1999

Before I watch! Maybe a compromise on the episodes would be good! Maybe watch the movie after Season 2 (that excludes any spoilers and gives you are break before the final season) and then do end of Season episodes in 2s but take longer to edit and upload them? 🤔 I think I'd rather see both together and wait, than have to wait to see 1 and then wait again for the second one, but I might not be in the majority there 🤷🏽‍♀️

WARNING. If you normally watch these on Paramount+, they cut an integral part out of the next episode. Make sure that you’re watching on Netflix or another platform beside Paramount.

This is the only episode that I REALLY wished they made a 2-parter. It's not just a case of "it could have benefited" from being longer, it would be objectively better. I love the characters and the representation of disability and the concept of this episode, but the pacing is awful! Aangs change from mistrust and dislike towards the mechanist and Teo happens way too quickly. I like that Teos air nomad like spirit is the spark that leads Aang to change his mind, but he immediately then chooses to open the sanctum. That really should have been a slower built. Also the mechanist didn't have to re-earn the trust of Team Avatar and his son (who he lied to all of Teos life) which feels off. The emissary from the fire nation came too quickly after the reveal and immediately had an army ready at this very remote location... I would have had a slower built ending the first episode with the reveal of the sanctum. And then have the second episode first deal with the fallout and betrayal and then have them all come back together to defend the air temple. WIth the mechanist losing the trust of Teo he might have been able to actually chose to switch sides to team Avatar by refusing the emissary on his own accord (now he is kinda forced into that position by Aangs actions). Also that way we could have learned how he managed to open and reseal the sanctum several times! They just brush over that mystery in the episode...
