Absolutely loved this one. It has me completely ready for the finale of this season (in a good way XD).

I must admit... I feel kinda dirty, how much I enjoyed the last scene...

I flipping love the 'Bored now' call back! That got me good! XD

Hope you are well, lovelies!!

As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to  download it first.  This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

Oops, guess I'm a little late posting this. No, Tara never died in season 5. She had her mind sucked out by Glory, and then Willow fixed it in the season 5 finale. I think it was wrong for them to force James and Sarah to do a scene they both objected to strongly, but writing-wise, I'm still conflicted about it to this day. And I say this as a Spike fan. It's risky to say too much more without alluding to spoilers, so I'll just leave that topic there. Jonathan and Andrew were arrested for the armored car robbery they attempted last episode. Looking forward to your upcoming reactions (including the one you just dropped)!

I think the bathroom scene was just out of place. It didn't match the character Spike had become and likely isn't something he would have done at that point in his story. He was always the one who could read people and had a "sensitive" side (as much as it could be as vampire). None of the big issue scenes or episodes are done well on Buffy, though, so I wouldn't expect anything more. Like I've said before, it's also not a 90s TV thing that's the problem. It's a Buffy thing. I watched, and have re-watched recently, other shows in the 90s that dealt with rape and attempted rape far far better than what people seem to think was going on. Superfans just can't believe that their perfect show may not be the end all be all of media at the time it was made. The geography of this episode really confused me, though. For Warren to be going from where Sunnydale is to the border, he wouldn't have gone anywhere near that desert that they meet the bus in. None of the deserts in the area would be on the way, but especially not that one. The only thing that I can think of is if he meant a state border, but that's not what people mean when the say "the border". (This type of geography issue happens a lot in shows and movies, though, and it always bugs me.)

I have to say immediately after Warren shot Tarra last episode I genuinely wanted him to die painfully!!😭😡😡 But as soon as Willows eyes turned black I realized what I was hoping for and my next thought was: "Oh, no, we have to stop Willow!" So, no, I didn't enjoy the ending scene because I don't know if we'll see Willow coming back from this and that was all I could think about😢 That said: I totaly get why you would feel the way you do! And I think it's great that you're being honest with us about your feelings on it. That's what we're here for after all!😊 Especially since at the end of the day it's only a show so one wouldn't know if one would actually react "better" or "worse" in real life🙈 Also: The scene with Buffy finding Dawn in the room was objectively heartbreaking...but I was still so numb from the pure shock of the last episode and also so worried about Willow that I couldn't get myself to actually feel it😢 Well, maybe I'll be able to appreciate it if I rewatch these episodes🙈

I think it’s funny you just talked about bad guys in wrestling that you would pay just to see get their comeuppance and that the trio weren’t that for you, you just didn’t want to see them at all. I mostly agree, but I now feel that Warren on his own is a bad guy that I want to see get his just desserts and I think from this video you probably feel the same way now too. Even though in theory, I think we both prefer human life to be spared and corrected by the human systems in place. It’s just funny that you recently brought that up and it applies so well to this episode. I’ll talk about the Spike bathroom scene more later but I generally do feel like it wasn’t very well written, there were other ways to remind the audience that Spike is still a soulless demon and progress his arc. I’m a spike fan so maybe I’m biased but I just don’t see him going there at this point in the story. I’m not saying he isn’t capable of that but it just doesn’t sit right with me how it played out and why.
