I FIGURED IT OUT!! (My son has gone no contact.) . The subject should be, "Where Do You Draw Your Lines?!!" . What is moral and what is immoral? This will end every family conflict and internet issue. Simply state your values and be done with it! No one can contest it and no one can argue anymore. . It's simply your opinion. You don't even have to declare WHY you think it! Just let your family, friends and community know! My greatest assertion is that people should KNOW each other. My suggestion goes along with... Look, I'm frustrated. I came here for insights on how I could get my son to talk to me again. The only experience I have with the gay/trans culture is that in my family, they drop off the grid never to be seen again. They are self absorbed and intolerant. They weren't abused. The videos here are starting to be redundant and there is no new interesting content or discussion. Cute facial expressions and phony charm is not what I need. I need someone with experience to tell me if I'm right in thinking that the gay lifestyle is a cliquish cult. I start out gentle and then get frustrated at being ignored.

Since it isn't talked about much or at all, what about Ace? We are part of the LBGT+ community but are the redheaded step children who are never brought up. It took me 10 years of marriage and nearly my entire life (I'm 37) to realize what I was and there was really no information on it or nothing but misinformation. I think it would help to hear from our side of the community as well as let people know that there are others out there who may be confused when you feel you don't fit in because you just don't have the sexuality everyone else does.

There's a great non-alarmist climate guy named Bjorn something could be a good place to start. I’m not really one to give up on a relationship, but I’ve a friend that is quite left-leaning and even when presented with facts they refuse to acknowledge the truth. I mean, they still think I’m a “fascist Nazi” and “can’t wrap their head around how I could possibly support the felon”. As if there isn’t more to it? I’m getting tired to having to defend myself… Just goes to show how badly TDS can warp people’s sense of reality. I know I mentioned this before, but I feel like attitude towards the police is a big issue today, mainly when it comes to both a lack of respect for them and the law and all the awful slander that the boys in blue get. That and the big movement to defund the already sometimes underfunded police force is, well, criminal. If more people knew that the police are just here to help then maybe we could see the number of incidents where people get punished for being so rude and then proceeding to feed into the hate cycle go down.

Amir, I'd love to get your personal opinion on issues of 'common sense.' An obvious one for me is perhaps that American elections are to be voted on by AMERICAN CITIZENS. I was totally blown away to learn that several states do not require ID for voting. Another issue might be the seemingly incongruity of parents not being given notice of a child's gender 'choices' in certain school systems. Whereas, we used to be able to take certain 'common sense' issues such as academic scores, behavioral reports, use of drugs, alcohol etc. by below 'legal age' kids as being normal for teachers, school administrations to inform parents of any illegal or below age activities. Now, it appears on one hand, that parents in some states are not given a presumption of authority for their kids for behaviors or choices. Yet, at the other extreme, parents are now in certain situations being held legalky/criminally responsible for aberrant behaviors which a kid might exhibit. Many former common sense issues seems very confused and responsibilities seem topsy turvey if not hypocritical. I hope my suggestion is clear. You seem really sensible and to have great perceptive abilities. Thanks!

When you look at a map, why are the blue voting areas almost always the heavily populated cities and almost all the rest mostly red leaning.
