I'll definitely had the books to my reading list! As for the ending of the show, I'd say I feel satisfied :) It was happy and I like when shows end happy. Still not sure why they chose to show so little of Laconia and not resolve that plot? But I'm glad to have the Rocci crew safe and sound and Drummer being the badass she is!

2022-01-10 19:47:40 +0000 UTCCan't believe there's only 1 episode left. Hey, so I hate being that guy, but really, I'm not holding out much hope for seeing the last 3 books on screen. Not in a way that would do them justice, anyway, so my advice is to read the books. All of them. They're different enough that you won't feel like it's a waste of time, but similar enough that you'll be with old friends. And the last 3 are really, really so good. They just nailed it. That said, I am also confident in the writers, and am expecting them to have made another amazing finale and given us an ending that, while it won't - can't - wrap everything up, will leave us more or less satisfied, despite not getting the final third of the whole story. If you have to stop somewhere besides the epilog of book 9, this is the best place to do it. Read the books though, seriously. Well worth it. See you next week for the big finish!
