Okay so here is what I think.. The witch that Tally has been seeing was so powerful that Alder felt threatened. Alder thought she killed her, but she survived and either joined the Camerilla or founded the Spree. Remember Willa was cooking mushrooms 🍄 in the end of the first season? I think the mycelium has to do with Willa's line. I think Willa isn't all Spree I think she was trying to change the way the Spree was doing things. Anacostia joining teams with Scylla, I saw that coming since the end of season one. I think Anacostia will end up helping them to join forces. Btw... The Vice President is Carmilla.
