Enjoy a briefly-up post of what I said I would be able to do, and then it'll go away because turns out there's literally nowhere I can do that. Except, I can use ContentHideD and show the Meter part of any content… but I know you want to be able to hear the records I showcase, so I'll just have to do a course correction. Can't try to show off heavily-policed content without ruining the audio with ContentHideD.

2025-09-19 18:51:42 +0000 UTCI think I won't be able to cover the car payment with Patreon while still showing/publishing how much that is, so I'm going to switch the display of that off. If asked I'll tell (in terms of 'this much short/over break even plus the car payment'). Also Graphtreon has a 'music top 50 patreons' that is paying-patrons-based. I would enjoy being on that chart, but I'm at 75, not 50. But that doesn't really mean anything, it would just be fun to track :) also also, comments on public posts were set to only paid members! I fixed THAT, heck with THAT. I might want help with the car but I love my starving artists. If there's abuse I'll just deal with it as it comes, speak forth, I didn't know it was pay-only until I went to change the settings which I generally never do :)

I'm going to be trying to build NON-plugin stompboxes to car-payment-raise (before that I was more chill about all that, but I won't let it shake me from my principles) but there are already people (at least one) in Eurorack using Airwindows DSP. I know enough that I can't switch to hardware without endangering everything, but someone else not me could. :)

2025-09-16 08:25:25 +0000 UTCI know so little about the process and technology that this might be a silly proposition, but here goes: have you ever thought about putting out AW guitar pedals? What I wouldn’t give to have Distance3 and CreamCoat in pedals. The plugins would allow for perfect, endless demos i-the-box, and then $100 (or whatever) can get it to you as a stompbox. Maybe it could run consolidated on a raspberry pi in an aluminum box with mono stereo ins and outs. As indicated earlier, what the hell do I know. At the very least, it’s a fantasy of mine. Get TapeHack into a pedal and watch the denizens of guitar-land make it move ten thousand units a month. Thanks as ever, Chris.
