HAHAHAHA the nut/acorn jokes just write themselves don't they :P I can tell just what era of environmental discussion this took place in just by watching it! OMG are you seriously talking to me about getting attached to characters haha!!! You know I will get attached to the stupidest side characters :P Poor Ellie!!! LOL I'm so glad someone else remembers Everyone Loves Raymond!!! XD Oh yeah, the ark joke was pretty obvious! Sid will never know what he took from poor Scrat lol! I've already filmed my reaction to 3 and I LOVED it! I just need to get to work on editing it! I have no clue what studios did what, I'm just kinda doing them as I like or as people request! I'm hoping to get to the new season of Oshi no Ko one day! OMG there are so many I haven't seen, not just non-animated! I'd love to see Speed! I've seen a LOT of movies but there are some huge ones that I've weirdly just missed out on - like I've never seen The Godfather?!?!?!?! Thanks for being patient about the movie reactions! I'm hoping to do once or twice a month but it's gonna depend on when I get time / babysitting availability :P

This show driving you nuts yet? :) I should clarify: the first trailer for the first movie was just literally the opening sequence of Scrat in that film: nothing more or less. No context, no other characters. Obviously environmental issues were a hot button topic at the time this came out so you see a lot of “in-jokes” being made - the show isn’t historically accurate but it also is trying to be in some ways. It’s just more humanized if you know the characters it’s happening to. Speaking of which, we do need to have a bit of a conversation - you’re getting way too attached to the dude characters who end up meeting regretful ends - they’re being played for shock value / laughs, not serious threatening. That’s reserved for the main cast (and Scrar). Ellie probably lost her parents in the last ice age and probably thought nothing of acting like a possum when she was about the same size. Now she’s… just a bit bigger. Of course, leave it to Manny to completely botch things up from the start - they’re acting like they’re already married two days in - what is this, Everybody Loves Raymond? (Let’s hope the mammoth version of Marie doesn’t exist…!) The big boat was just an “ark” made of a slab of tree trunk, but I think you get the joke they were going for, there. Anyway, remember, these are comedies so - be careful you don’t take it too seriously or you’ll end up like a beaver in Dam Nation. :) Also, good job, Sid, you resurrected Scrat and gave him mouth to mouth. I’m sure he REALLY appreciated it. Movie #3 is called Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I would hold off on Cars until we get to it in the Pixar list, it’ll pop up soon. Oh, and I don’t really have too many suggestions in this genre at the moment - but I do hope you restart Oshi No Ko and get to both Re:Zero and Sentenced to Be a Hero. As far as movie goes, it’s live action and not kid friendly, but you still haven’t seen Speed. Tch. :) I wouldn’t push yourself too hard with these, movie reactions are a lot more long winded, so even if it’s just one a month, you’re still doing fine. :) See you for the next acorn! 🌰
