Maybe they're both being kept by CODE and until now, Nox didn't have a way out. Hmmm that's interesting about CODE, it would actually be a lot more layered and interesting if they were a bit grey and not what we're thinking based on the info we have here. Oh yeah I was wondering if they'd get into Nox's past!!! Oooooh yeah what became of the other kids?! Are they agents?! A Bucky situation would be crazy!!!!!!!

Yeah good point, what did become of the black hole?! I'm really wondering if Nox is actually the secret good guy here. Total SAO vibes! I did NOT notice that about the colors, whoa :O

2025-12-18 15:43:33 +0000 UTCSomething occurred to me watching this episode - it might be because I’m also going through SAIO because this kind of concept is something similar, but… we saw NOX sleeping in reality, hooked up to an IV but he’s combating something and it just dawned on me - how do we know that the waking world ITSELF isn’t a big dream? So did the Thunder that showed up in Baku’s bad dream - was it a metaphor for NOX erasing his memory in the first place? And did Nem’s participation affect his younger self in any way? Also, did that bad dream trigger everything that happened after? Also - weren’t we in a black hole? Raise your hand if anyone ever saw anybody actually exit. We got some real Inception level stuff going on here… But if everything’s a simulation it would explain how the Nightmares are affecting what we view as “the real world…” maybe CODE is keeping everyone in a dream world? And NOX is trying to wake everyone up? Again, SAO vibes…. Also did anyone notice the dream had the colors of the four different kinds of Capsems? Pass me some more red string over here…. 👀

2025-12-16 23:33:53 +0000 UTCRemember, Zero isn't a robot, the Zero we see is just remotely controlled by the real Zero. Well, that what Zero said to Baku and us, so what can be trusted anymore... Now, with this episode I have news theories, first, we just seen that Baku first nightmare was being stuck by lighting and by defeating it and capturing it into a capsems he was able to wake up. So, my idea is that NOX used a capsems the same way Baku did and is stuck in this dream world since, without his belt and weapon he wasn't able to fight his own nightmare so he wasn't able to wake up. And I bet it's the same for Nem, when she had her accident, she was sleeping, something tell me that it was her nightmare that provoked the accident and they will need to defeat it to really wake her up. That brings me to another point, I think both Nem and NOX's bodies are under CODE's care. If CODE really used a cram school to see if their was some possible futur agents before erasing their memories, they could also kidnap/steal the nightmare's victim to keep it secret and on watch. I'm almost ready to bet that CODE isn't as shady as the show try to picture it. Sure they are sus right now, but what if they only manage to protect the civilian from the nightmares and aren't the one behind the creation of it. They are morally grey, but really work for the greater goods. Even Zero sayng to eliminate NOX, we could take that as "agent 4" or the nightmare that NOX fought in this episode. Nox is a latin word for night, and strangely, when NOX was fighting his nightmare it was night time for everyone in the real world. So my point is, it isn't NOX as Odaka but NOX as the nightmare that need to be eliminated. By the way, since Baku's first nightmare was on the street in his dream and NOX is in that abandonned looking building, if that mean that Odaka was afraid of the dark/night in an abandonned building ? What is his past and at what age does he had that nightmare... I sense a tragic backstory for him. Just a final note, I counted nine children in the special class, including Baku, but I could be wrong. Are all of them turned into agent ? And with all this mindgame with kids and memories erased, that is litteraly what a sleeper agent plot could be, just like Bucky in Avenger... A "sleeper" agent... Why can I not think of that sooner.
