Ok guys, sorry my brain was not braining in this one, but WOW that was a lot to take in! So I was right to suspect some connection to the old emperor when it comes to Suirei, but now I'm thinking granddaughter instead of daughter! What on earth is Loulan's connection?! And where has she gone?! And now Lakan has an adopted kid, who uncovered some scandal?!?!!? What is happening lol?!!? Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

This all tracks, you've done a good job of whiteboarding it here haha! So, others have pointed out to me that Shisui and Loulan are both missing and look similar. Tian and Suirei are both missing and they've all but some out and said they're the same person. Sooo...yeah I didn't make the connection but...I guess that solves the Shisui thing!

2025-12-04 16:49:37 +0000 UTCOk, let me try mapping this up by now. The grave that the clinic lady is praying too is Taihou's. Taihou was a lady-in-waiting of the concubine A (Psuedonyn). Taihou was deflowered by the late emperor, and gave birth to a daughter who was exiled with the doctor. Taihou hosted many ghost storytelling sessions. Taihou died of old age. If Taihou's daughter is still alive, she should be in the middle age by now. (This part is my assumption) She should be older than Suirei. And Concubine A was given to Shishou, and gave birth to Loulan. Shishou seems to be colorblind. 4 people is missing from the rear palace by now: Maomao, Tian (Suirei), Shisui, who's doesn't exist in the record, and Loulan. Loulan here is the Impostor among us. (Kinda sus) The group of Maomao consist of Maomao, Suirei, and Shisui. While looking from the POV of the rear palace, there suppose to be four. But Loulan is no where to be seen. ...this start to get too complicated that I couldn't think all about it just by standing there. I need a whiteboard! Oh wait, I guess there are no whiteboard in ancient era. Maybe a old fashioned black board? Shisui is like the Joker here. She doesn't exist in the rear palace's record, and I suppose they don't think of she missing as well since she doesn't exist. So that leave Maomao, Tian (Suirei), and Loulan. While the crew at the fox village we see now is Suirei (Tian), Maomao, and Shisui. Loulan is still no where to be seen. Was she in the village as well? Or she was somewhere else? How did she get out? And when did she leave? Oh wait. And now Shishou is missing too? Where's he? Was he among the ship boarder? Is he impersonated as Suirei or Shisui? Nah...

2025-12-01 03:17:17 +0000 UTCI doubt Suirei would want to kill Shisui. She was not the one hosting that ghost story party. It must have been a ghost. The baby was not the daughter of a dr. That was a made up story by the pedophile Emperors mother, and after that doctors in the rear palace had to be eunuchs. The current emporess dowager told us this when she told us that her baby was only recognized by the emporess because the current Emporer is a male. If she had a girl she would have suffered the same fate.
