OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG the frog was even better than I could've expected HAHAHAHAHA!! No wonder you guys were cracking up! DANG that was quite the scene....!!!! Lots of tension there between these two, and the frog analogy/measurements/etc. were just AMAZING lol! Also loved the little setup we had to do to expose who was targeting Jinshi...it does beg a lot more questions though, doesn't it? Not to mention Maomao FINALLY got her ox beazor!!! But that tidbit about her having to cry it out as a baby BROKE ME!!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

LOL I totally get it now!!! Omg, Leonie's been planning this for a while now! It would be funny to react to them!! I mean, Jinshi was getting a little frisky there but yeah, I'm willing to cut him some slack! Yeah the minute they mentioned the West I thought of the identical cousins! I would think that Jinshi is the much nicer role to play anyway - more respect, etc. But yeah, Maomao must make all the difference! He got all around blocked!!! HAHAHAHA the frog does seem to measure well :P Hahahha I did need that laugh! HAHAHAHAHA that's her theme now!!! I'm excited and scared for what's coming next!!!!!!!!

Also I’d just like to point out your hands have been fondling a frog on camera for twelve straight episodes and you even made sure to put it directly in front of the camera. 🐸. As for the whole payoff? 🐸? It was worth it. 🐸. I was going to say as a side project you should replay all of your AD S2 intros from the past few weeks without context now that you know - but it sounds like your editor is already working on the roast? 🐸? Maybe you should react to yourself? 🐸? The frog did indeed put the two of them in a precarious position - and there was no way that Maomao was not going to notice at that range. 🐸. But it’s also something she wouldn’t have had the opportunity to, um, discover, if the frog hadn’t startled her and made her fall. 🐸. Some people did take a bit of an issue with Jinshi’s um, forwardness in the continuing scene - but it’s important to remember that he’s only 19 in reality, a couple years older than her, and his character is 24. 🐸. Also he’s very immature when it comes to sexuality as well, so Maomao egging him on caused a lot of natural responses that he didn’t really know what to do with - neither did she, for that matter - when he’s gotten the drop on her, she’s still monologuing and doesn’t know whether to kick him off or let him continue. 🐸. They’re both, Ah, emotionally stunted in several ways. 🐸. Frogs are slimy, anyway. 🐸. Obviously this is an important “development” we’ve all been waiting on - but it’s not the only thing worth mentioning here. 🐸. The feifas were all brought in by the same official’s party, and everyone is wondering where they actually came from - Jinshi surmised they were from the West. 🐸. There’s a lot of curiosity around the status of all the concubines as well. 🐸. Maomao’s revelation about her childhood explains her emotional detachment and her lack of reaction - “because of this, I am slow to pick up on how others think of me.” 🐸. That also might explain why she was so nonchalant in the cave scene - put any other girl in that position and they’d have been a lot more freaked out, I’d imagine. 🐸. Jinshi is the emperor’s brother, but is playing a role because nobody has actually seen his face. He’s playing the part of himself, but not himself here. 🐸. Well, at least when he’s not talking to Maomao - should clear up he’s not trying to confess here - both in the cave and in the ox bezoar scene he was really trying to get her to listen to him explain who he really was. 🐸. Why was Maomao thinking like that before he handed her the gift - she already got pretty close already. 😅 🐸. I’ll just say we’re at the halfway point and you don’t know a quarter of it yet. 🐸. But poor Jinshi - he got —— blocked, frog blocked, dog blocked, and ox blocked, all in the same episode. 🐸. Don’t worry, the frog is only “somewhat sizable” though. 🐸. The theme song for Maomao the rest of the year needed to be “Turn Around, and the Frog Is There.” 🐸. 😂. Ok okay, this comment got lengthy, so I’ll stop “ribbiting” you - I do wonder how many times you burst out laughing in front of your family for no reason the rest of the week though. 🐸. You’re welcome. 🐸.

Now you know what the frog is (just like Maomao who "handled" the situation), so yeah, whenever you said something about the frog and we all where thinking about "the frog", that surely give us some chuckles. It was for the best to not eat or drink during your reaction because the poor monitor wouldn't be intact until now lol. Poor Jinshi, he still haven't been able to say the whole truth about himself to Maomao because she was too excited (and he was too smitten by her happy face), but at least we know that he is ready to reveal himself to her and have a total trust that she will accept him for who he is, that a weight off his shoulder. This episode was more resolution and action than installement, but at least we know now why nobodies make a link between Jinshi and the prince, since he appear only masked, we know too that the prince isn't really respected because he don't appear much and people seem to think that he isn't adapted for the throne. So, between Jinshi and the prince, I think we all know what role he seem to prefer (clue, the one when he can be with Maomao). We all will jump into the second part, and if you think Lakan's plot in S1 was something, get ready for what is to come.
