Added 2025-09-21 18:14:48 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to ep 2 of Kamen Rider Zeztz!!! Oh dang, now we're getting some good worldbuilding!!! I LOVE the bike, love that we're piecing together more of how this all works, and LOVE the dynamic between the two detectives! It's Mulder and Scully on crack for sure hahaha!!! But wait, guy detective might be....bad?!?! Huh?!!? Guess we'll find out! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

I saw some of it but not the whole series! I can see the Dr. Strange vibes for sure! And yeah the design is really reminiscent of American superheroes, you're right! I know, I love the throwback to older Rider series where the bike/car chases were more prominent!!!

It's possible it's another app issue but if it's freezing for everyone it might be a corrupted file that I can re-export and replace. Also was it just the video of me or the entire video, including the Kamen Rider footage? Because if it was the whole video, that's not my camera, it's just something wrong with the file. Otherwise it's a big warning sign from my camera that I don't wanna ignore. Thanks

Nothing TOO bad but you should definitely check your camera and make sure everything’s working properly. Okay, on to the episode - I mentioned Inception last time, but let’s add the Matrix to the list of references considering all the moves he’s making in the dream world. Also - how big is the budget for this show? We’ve already had two crazy action set pieces already. I’m still processing everything and everyone, but Zit appears Nagusa (the lady cop) is supposed to work under Fujimi but if you ask me she’s gonna end up bossing HIM around at this rate. 😅 You know, I didn’t think much of it the first time but you did key in on “agents” when Zero was giving him the tour. (Wait… isn’t Agent Zero also a reference to something? Remind me!) Also I don’t remember who the cop lady was in Geats or whichever one you said - the name isn’t ringing a bell. But anyway, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Nem turned out to be an agent herself. (We’ve got a real Loid/Yor potential situation going on here, if that’s the case…) I lack information regarding the guy who appeared at the beginning at the end. He might be good or evil, or more likely, neutral. Finally, speaking of Fujimi, and him wanting to bomb the precinct in his dreams… maybe there’s something going on at the police station that we DON’T know about? I mean, Kamen Rider… shady organization stuff… wouldn’t be the first time? Oh! It just hit me! I’m getting a lot of RWBY: Ice Queendom vibes! You remember! At least you should. Dreams… Nightmares… get the sleeper to wake up or they’re forever trapped… yup! Speaking of that… Death Battle released its 200th fight today, and Ruby Rose finally got her turn. It was a fight that was actually requested by Monty years ago when the creator of the show and him worked together. A little bit off topic, but I felt I should let you know about it. Now RWBY has put a fight for each team member in that series. Ok, back to regularly scheduled programming.

2025-09-22 03:19:50 +0000 UTCI think you watched Wizard no ? So you might find some similarity with Zeztz, i don't specify on what part, but episode three might help you understand what I mean. I just wanted to say that, the HQ, remind me a lot of the house of Dr Strange, especially the window that lead on people dreams, just like the one that lead to different places in the movies, and with Zeztz being able to manipulate the dream, sound a little like the mirror dimension in Dr Strange too. So, with a design looking like an american super heroes like Spider-man (you said Venom yourself), you can see that the show is really turned for western audiences. Also, the chase in bike and the whole scene in bike and trucks, was really a flashback to old tokusatsu where it was comon (in the 80's/90's), so that was good for me, also, the henshin on the bike and the explosion while he jump with the bike, if there not tribute to Shin Kamen Rider or Ichigo, they're very close to it, I like it ^^.
