Added 2025-09-14 18:05:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to ep 1 of Kamen Rider Zeztz!!! WHOA!!!! We hit the ground running here, what the heck!!! I LOVE the new setup! The dreams/nightmares, the new look, the James Bond stuff, and let's face it....our new guy is pretty smoking hot in his dream state LOL!!!! I'm so excited to see more, this one had my head spinning in the best way!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Lol I do tend to get hooked fast I guess! Yeah it worked out well with the subs! I have seen Inception actually, that's a fair analogy! Yeah I can totally see the Zero One vibes between the two cops! He's got Qrow luck (or lack thereof) for sure! :/ Oh thanks for clearing it up about the kid! Oof, stay away from those nightmares!!!

Yorozu will slowly gain confidence in reality as he achieves his dream in helping people and eventually his secret identity will be revealed. Thus forcing him not stand out as agent 007, but Baka Yorozu. This series really feels like a fusion of Den-o, zero one, and wizard.

2025-09-17 18:04:50 +0000 UTC“I can’t believe I got hooked this fast…” The rest of us: 👀 So let’s go over all the different things I’ve noticed, but first - I did see TokuScrub (I’m guessing you took my advice from the subs) posted that their releases could possibly be a day or two behind the original release period just so they would have time to work on accuracy and availability of different languages. So in this case your schedule might benefit you since you’re a week out. (As of this post their episode 2 version wasn’t up yet, Sunday night.) Anyway we did really hit the ground running - it’s the old ploy of, okay, everyone skip the intros and we’ll fill in the gaps later, we have to get everyone’s attention first. (It’s kind of like when you look at the track list on an album, you don’t put the slow ballad first, you start with the banger single.) The Nightmare on Elm Street comparison does make sense… but when I saw the getup of both Baku and Nem combined with the music choices in the background… then you look at what they were wearing in the dream… tell me you weren’t getting Spy x Family Loid and Yor vibes. (It’s almost that time too, yay! 😅) Yes there’s definitely a James Bond reference: (Code 7? Could you be any more obvious?) Ok regarding the other reference, have you seen a movie from a few years ago called Inception? (It’s really good btw) - but it’s about dreams and traversing through them when they seem real, and I think this might be more in that vein. I forgot their names, it’s been too long, but did the paranormal cop couple remind you at all of the cop pair in Zero One? You know who I mean (the secondary rider) - although she sure looks like she didn’t believe any of this. Come to think of it the form kinda has a Zero One face now that I think about it…. The woman worrying over Baku is named Minami - I think at one point it was said or inferred she was his sister. So that would explain her concern. Apparently, we have a live action version of Qrow Branwen here. XD The nightmare that he ended up killing - after he hit the kill blow it busted into dust and a purple butterfly floated away… what’s up with that? There’s a lot to process in a season premeire but if the rest of this series is as crazy as the first episode, we might be in for a crazy ride… Oh I think the kid got saved because Baku got hit by the car, before I go - but then she showed up in the dream because weird stuff happens like that. (Also you just know he’s gonna run into his crush at some point.) That’s all I can think of after one episode, but… basically sleep-depriving Grimm fighters? Lol. Ok I’ll stop. 😅 I’m tired. I dunno if that’s a good thing… 👀
