Scar Wax FAIL (It was a cool look, but MEH!)

First things first, welcome new subs! Welcome to definitely some random stuff, but I APPRECIATE YOU ALL SO FUCKING MUCH!
Second, let’s just say this is what not to do! In my defense, I thought I had plans and ended up rushing the fuck out of this tutorial. I did not have the product I needed and ended up using LUSH dry shampoo as a setting powder. Did it work? Surprisingly, yes, really well, actually, but the point is I couldn’t find my powder. I wouldn’t recommend using dry shampoo, of course, but if you’re in a bind…I guess?
Third, I did not get to sculpt and lay my wax down closer to my skin. It was towards the end that I realized I didn’t lay it down enough and it pissed me off so bad! Yeah, it looks pretty cool, but damn it, damn it not what I wanted. I feel like the edges were blended great, the middle sculpting was passable, but the edges were WAY too raised and not up to my standard, so, FAIL.
Fourth, I ended up accidentally getting heavy-handed with fake blood. I cannot stress enough that you never, never, never, never, NEVER just pour fake blood on a wound you’ve crafted. You’ll end up covering it up like I did like a dumbass. Also, for the record, this is why I prefer working with my own blood; it’s easier, less obnoxious, and is just my preferred cup of tea. Whatever.
Fifth, it was just a total fail. I wasn’t that mad, but it wasn’t what I wanted. I do think there were some key parts of the look that came together, but let’s just call this a WHAT NOT TO DO VIDEO.
Sixth, and most important:
DO NOT RUSH.
