Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 7 of season 3 of Dr. Stone! WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!? I know you've got to be kidding me that all our friends just got petrified....!!! This is crazy, who is this master guy?!!? I'm sure we'll be able to learn more from our new friend Amaryllis! The intro scene was pretty hilarious with all our crew reacting in different ways haha. But dang guys, they really threw me through a loop with this one!! Great stuff! Enjoy!! ~ MH

Doctor Science, Doctor Metal, Doctor Vision, and Doctor Baldhead — I’m CRYING. Why does that fit so perfectly though?? I feel like Gen would absolutely volunteer to sing the theme song with maximum drama and zero shame. And you are SO right, this arc basically did turn into “The Bachelorette: Stone Age Edition” — complete with suitors, confessions, and people absolutely not focusing on the bigger problem because we’re too busy dealing with Senku’s poker face and Kohaku’s terrifying murder-eyes. I love this show so much. Also bless Suika, the forever-underrated MVP. I fully believe she’s going to swoop in when everyone least expects it and just casually save the day, as per usual. 🍈💪 The stone beam mystery is definitely simmering in the background, and you’re spot-on — Senku always has moves in his pocket, even if it’s three moves ahead and none of us can see it yet. I trust the science. I trust the chaos. I trust the petrification beam to make things weirder before it makes sense!!! And OMG that VA tidbit is so cool!! Senku’s VA just seems like such a legend; I bet that was awesome to hear about!

2025-07-14 22:12:38 +0000 UTC“I’m so glad there isn’t an antagonist in this show.” Show: 👀 Amaryllis doesn’t have a lot of VA credits you’d recognize, the closest would be Yuki in Oshi No Ko (Akane accidentally scratched her face leading to that whole story arc in S1). It would seem that rumors of the petrification beam’s demise were greatly exaggerated. There are stone statues all over the sea floor that don’t make sense as far as the time of the initial wave. Remember that on the boat they saw some sort of shining light. No one knows what it was, and right now nobody’s able to tell. Fortunately we have a rather ragtag crew of characters who decided to leave just before their shop was targeted. And let’s not forget we also have our mini size stowaway Suika on the ground as well. You know, she might come in handy. You never know. You’re thinking too much big picture at the moment - asking about the stone beam and how it got whittled down to this kind of use is a relevant question - but there are more pressing issues at the moment. Hey, is it just me or did this whole arc around Amaryllis turn into television spin-offs? First we have CSI: Dr. Stone edition with Doctor Science and Doctor Metal… what do we call the others? Doctor Vision and Doctor Baldhead? XD (whooooo are you? Who who? Oops sorry wrong theme song). And if that’s not enough we went straight into a island rip-off of The Bachelorette with everyone confessing to the island girl. Who will she choose? Wait, that’s not important right now… What is important is Kohaku has some very scary facial expressions this episode… I’m not sure whether to laugh or run away quickly. But hey, Senku’s straight up approach worked as far as acquiring an ally - Gen’s less so for trying to get a girl to hug him… XD Anyway, now we have to figure out what kind of moves we have… Senku always has moved, you just gotta figure out the pieces. PS: Senku’s JP VA was actually present at Anime Expo last week (he was actually there to promote a different show), but I thought you’d find that cool. :)
