Apr 16 - Final Act
Added 2025-04-17 14:00:20 +0000 UTCThis week I wanted to write something that was a bit faster than recent projects. I started at 132 bpm and wrote an interesting chord progression on strings. I developed it from there adding some more cinematic and electroinc elements to fill it out. Towards the end of the session, I finalized a basic arrangement and arrived at the current version.
It's simple but I like it. It has some similarities to recent stuff but brings some retro and cinematic vibes to differentiate it. I can see myself returning to finish this at some point.
What do you think? - Do like songs at this bpm? Do you like how the cinematic layers combine with the electronic layers? And do you feel like this is a strong enough idea to finish? Download attached and WIP Archive updated!
