It hit me when I was finishing one of the more important scenes, how far back that I had planned for it. And I think it will fly under the radar for most players until this point in time.
Well... actually I think two of the scenes might come of a surprise, one of them slightly linked to this scene picture above.

I also managed to wake up the script kiddie from his slumber and we've been working on a new function. At first it was just meant to make a new identity system for Battlers. Because the engine only identify battlers in number order of placement, not enemy type or anything like that. Which makes a hassle when applying transforming effects. Anyway, that all works fine. However, we didn't stop there. The new script will allow to treat battlers like pictures. Which means, that they can be moved around, animated, switched out and do effects to. And the enemies can be killed during movement, no problem. Atm the script kiddie is extending the idea with behaviour movement, like say enemy dodge animation movement and such. Which can easily be extended in turn by an external config file. This also an additional additional small function embedded. The ability to disable the "enemy has appeared textbox". Personally I haven't been bothered by this, but I would like to hear my supporters opinions as always. :-)

Future is uncertain, and life keeps throwing you curveballs. Sometimes worse than the one before. I'll most likely going to be forced to stop my studies due to the unemployment office suddenly changing rules or whatever. I don't really know what's in store. No worries, I've finished the worst parts of the update and it's a downhill from here I suppose. I do need to create a few new areas, one ordinary tileset and one weird ass tileset, the kind that I have never tried before. Well I suppose that the heaven maze would be closest to it. It'll be fun to work on that for sure. It'll also be intersting to draw the new 3x size church organ. I'll keep pausing payments, until month of release of the update. I wished that I could have Loki as a job, but I'd have to earn so much due to the high taxes here in Sweden, it's not really possible. Too much rambling I know!
