We had some technical difficulties on this one. Well, that isn't fair, I (Aaron) had technical difficulties. OBS reset my mic settings and I didn't think to look at them until 90 minutes in lol. So I am muted for the first hour and a half. Reviewed the tape and you don't miss out on much, and I give a recap of anything interesting I remembered saying once I got my mic working.
On the brightside though, this one is EXTRA LONG so hopefully that makes up for it :D
Also, Patreon has added an in house video uploading feature (that you may have seen in some of the recent Tom's Food Reviews posts here). Might start just plonking these videos on there because we won't have to worry about copyright strikes etc. Is the Patreon video player good? Would it be a pain in the ass to Chromecast or whatever? What do you think?

2022-11-18 23:11:29 +0000 UTCi haven't had any issues with the patreon video player so far but they did say they eventually plan to charge money to host videos on it. probably a more reasonable number than what vimeo wanted but its not gonna be free forever, the whole reason they made it was to open up a new revenue stream

A few, my extremely scottish grandpa is really into it. its still a sport for rich people with too much time, but in the ones ive been to are less "hoighty toighty" and more midwesteners getting extremely drunk on a field while not paying attention. but the matches ive seen have always been free to the public

I haven't noticed any problems with the Patreon video player on things so far. Not the MOST user friendly experience, especially on mobile, but for the purposes of these videos, which I put on the background and don't touch, it's fine
