Something is up with patreon
Added 2023-01-11 21:47:38 +0000 UTCSo I read online that patreon had some sort of issue recently and they supposedly fixed it on January 3rd. However since then I believe some small things have changed. I wasn't able to use my account until I downloaded the app. That's fine. But recently I noticed that when I click on an image I uploaded, it looks pixelated. Clearly they optimize /reduce the quality to make it easier to embed, however I'm pretty sure there was still an option to download the original size and quality but now it's gone. Am I crazy? It's possible this never existed and I'm confusing sites.
Anyway, I think to be safe I'll need to attach the original files or link the original files via mega. I'm a little annoyed because now I think the pictures I've been uploading aren't even available to download in their real size / quality. And I tell people to sub to my patreon for higher quality images.
On that note, Subscribestar is better than Patreon for this. I don't want you guys to sub to both. I just want to point out that if you're frustrated with patreon, know that I'm on subscribestar too and that site has the feature to download original size and original quality, which Patreon seems to be missing, mysteriously.

I want to make clear that there's no difference between my patreon and subscribestar. Nothing on subscribestar will be exclusive or vice versa. Subscribestar is an account I made a while back as a backup in case I was banned here. But I'm noticing more and more that things are getting pretty bad at patreon. In terms of censorship and missing features. So just mentioning this in case things keep getting worse.
