We are back with Star Trek: The Next Generation! Today's episode is titled The Last Outpost. What a good episode! We get to meet a brand new species (not new to me because of Voyager) named the Ferengi! It was really cool to see how Starfleet originally met them before some were allowed to work on Federation ships. I loved the moral of this episode as well: "He will triumph who knows when to fight and when not to fight" - Sun Tzu. I'm enjoying this crew a whole lot and I cannot wait to see where they go next!

This story feels like a 3rd season TOS episode, with much better f/x. It's OK, and the character moments are good,as is the fact that it introduces the Ferenghi - but this episode is merely a hint of how good TNG can be :)
