2024-07-15 02:53:24 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes in the series. Hal Linden, who played John Noretti, is still alive (and acting) at age 93. He has won three Emmy Awards and one Tony Award. I really like his character here, but you're right that the Sophia-Dorothy interactions, which go from contemptuous to heart-warming, make this episode what it is.
