We are back with another The Golden Girls reaction. Today, we are watching Like the Beep Beep Beep of the Tom-Tom. This was such a special episode for me. Seeing Blanche go through her heart issues reminded me of my own journey as a cardiac patient. I loved how our girls surrounded Blanche with love and helped her get back to her normal dynamo self! This show is such a gem and a joy to watch and experience with you all.

Ohhhhh! Even if it was disproven, why would they remove it?! It would have made it so much funnier!

2024-05-03 03:41:58 +0000 UTCThe line, "So, who's for popcorn?" doesn't make sense because an important scene was cut when the episode went to syndication, so it's missing here, too. Rose and Dororthy suspect that using their microwave could potentially kill Blanche, because it could mess with the pacemaker. (I believe that's been disproven.) So when Blanche said "life has no meaning," Sophia's line ("So, who's for popcorn?") becomes much funnier. There's a YouTube video about this somewhere if you search for Golden Girls popcorn, you might find it.
