Lately, I’ve been creating a lot of illustrations with a heavier tone for the ms2b series, so I wanted to lighten things up for Christmas. This time, I went all in for a fun and cheerful vibe. I truly love drawing pieces like this!
Recently, I’ve been really into anime-style coloring ever since I found a great new brush for line art. While I still enjoy detailed illustrations, the simplicity and cleanliness of well-done line art allow me to include more characters and expressions, which is incredibly rewarding. It does require solid drawing skills, but I feel like I’ve been able to express something I’m genuinely satisfied with lately.
These days, my focus has shifted back to 3D production, so I haven’t had as many opportunities to create new illustrations. That’s why working on this Christmas piece was so much fun.
