I for sure want him to release the update when he feels it's ready and not rush it but I do agree some more communication would be nice. Nothing to major. Maybe twice a month just a quick paragraph or two. "Hey, still working on the Jessica event. I've been playing around with a particular animation today that I think you all are going to like. Work continues on converting images to a smaller format. While this is tedious work for me there is enough overall benefit to the game that it's just got to be done. Still on track for a release late next month but I want to stress that things can change so give me some leeway on that and I'll make sure to keep everyone in the loop. I'll have a preview of the new event for you in the next status update."

3 Months seem like a long time but consindering what he wrote and what was still on his todo list it seems very reasonable for the time. I appreciate his work nonless the time and I must say he delievers big updates with good storylines. All besides that I would still appreicate some quick news or something so I dont invest in what could be possibly already a dead project what I realy hope is not the case because of what he said in earlier news.

It's a choice to donate, and even doing so does not guarantee he release updates at regular intervals. That regularity with deadlines kills creativity. I don't want that at all. Without knowing what their life is like, what they have to deal with, it's not fair to complain he's not working hard/fast enough. It's also none of our business unless he volunteers it.

think its the lack of even an progress update even when he said also he is right this is a payed commodity and when we subscribe he then has to uphold his end of the bargin and make the product. Also people have the right to compain if they feel as if he isnt upholding his end of the bargin and it has been 3 months since the last patch which was also cut in half.

@Likeanevilrabbit all we get is just excuses. 3 months for one update is just to long. Thats fact. When it all started it was every month one update. Then it got 2 months and now 3. In 1 year its only every 5 months one update…

It's quickly becoming the standard among developers. Kind of a danmed if you do danmed if you don't. Shorter windows with less content mean you spend more time assembling the build and bug testing vs creating content so you have less to show in a release. Longer windows give you more time to create bigger events or other house keeping task but your supporters have to wait much longer. Three months seems to be the longest you can reasonably between updates. On the bright side the added dev time per update hopefully means the updates are even better than before.
