Friday was the Los Angeles premiere of the movie Cuddly Toys which I am one of the leads in. Thereโs another screening happening in New Orleans the 17th and 18th which I hope to go to. If I am able to go Iโll be apart of the Q&A after the screening on the 17th. This one is going to be at The Broad.
Thereโs also a screening of it on August 13th in Memphis. Iโm not so sure if Iโll be able to make it to that one but Iโm hoping I will! More likely the New Orleans one though. The one in Memphis will be @ the Black Lodge Theater
Thereโs also a showing in Chicago on July 25th @ Davis Theatre. Then thereโs another way in Chicago on July 26th @ the Alamo Drafthouse. Oh thereโs one more here that I almost missed! July 27th @ Facets.
August 11th thereโs a showing in St. Louis @ TBA
August 31st in Philadelphia @ Phil Moca
In New York on July 21st and 28th @ Film Noir NYC
Then last (for now) but not least, thereโs a showing in Gardenia, CA on September 22nd @ Gardenia Cinema. Iโll be at this showing for sure!
If youโre able to make it to one of these showings I would be delighted! Iโm so excited that Cuddly Toys is being shown so many places. My beloved bunny Levi (RIP) is in the film with me. I have a very dramatic crying scene too. Iโm very proud of the crying scene haha! Itโs not the easiest thing to do. The film is shot completely on 16mm film! Itโs inspired by the Mondo films of the 60s and 70s.
