Here's hopefully my final update. Turns out Ive not finished drawing one of the CGs in one of the routes, so there is a gap I'm trying to fill right now. Honestly I'm at 90± unique CGs at this point so I'm not surprised I've missed that one, and the scene has 3 girls in it so it's a bit slower to draw. Patch is coming out today 100% but it's taking longer than what I thought for which I apologize to you all. Hopefully I'll see you guys soon, thank you all for your patience!

as Noah pointed out correctly it wasnt meant as blame just some criticism which should be allowed. while you Angmon are just an idiot. what made you think exactly iam not supporting him? i pay 5$/month like most people here or what do you mean by that crap exactly?? and that creativity shouldnt be rushed has to do with nothing i said. the creative part (art/writing) is done for a while already, all thats left is adding the new material, testing and bugfixing. which can and should be streamlined and optimized and has nothing to do with creativity you imbecile. iam not saying he should be done with everything in 1 month all i say is his last few steps finishing the game leave room for improvement. for all i care he should just stay with 2.5month release cicle and use the time he gains from optimizing the "coding part" of production for his art or just as free time for himself and not stress out as much.

For someone that doesn't seem like they are supporting the creator, you should shush and be patient. Creativity should not be rushed, nor set by a deadline. Calm down you gross sounding cereal, and go play with yourself some more.

I imagine thing's don't go as planned either. I believe it's not 100% his fault (not that any one is blaming fault) but when he ran into an issue of his cg's. That would have to had stopped him from getting things done relative to timed scheduled. I will say, I've seen this happen for a couple times this year. Predicts estimate days. Gets to said day with update of estimated hours. Get's close to deadline then runs into an error which thus stalls his delivery by however long. He ends up creating the game several hours later but eventually get's done. I suppose one man job can be a bitch when one thing goes wrong it all stalls the production. Whose to say it's not a good excuse for his time management. Either way, I could def see somewhere down the line he may need help producing content at the rate of hungry patreons. At the end of it all, the more excited people are the more we are critical of his timing, although I think it's also fair to say he could try better methods to surpass these scheduling issues or only give an estimated date when he is 100% for sure of it. I'm sure he is well aware of it all too.

yea but if the last 20% of one route takes 8-12hours that means its not just 1 day but more like waitng 3-4 days longer. i dont play the whole thing in one go anyway. checking out 1-2 new scenes after 2 months of waiting is "enough" for me if you know what i mean. i rather have something left to check out 1 day later. but thats maybe just me xD

have to say, estimating 12 hours for the last 20% of the final route of probably 4 routes total seemed weird to me. and then 12hours later saying "need a few more hours, but I'm very close." which was also almost 4hours ago confirmed my bad feeling in the beginning. to me, few hours together with very close means 2-3 hours max. feel like time management in general is all over the place here.

i was wondering, wouldnt it be possible to just upload the "unfinished" game with 2 of 4 scenes first and maybe 2 or 3 days later upload the finished game with all scenes added. like splitting it in 2 parts when putting it together, so you dont have to hurry that much at the end next time??? i have no idea how to make games like this though, so maybe it would be much more effort doing it this way.

Another quick update: I’m still working on the patch, sadly it’s going a bit slower than I hoped, but so far no errors, so that’s great. I’m about 80% done with the final route, so I’d say I might be done in another 12 hours at most if everything goes well. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Quick update: I have only 3 things left to do. Finish putting in the final route, tweak one of the animations a bit and do a couple of test runs. It might take me the entire day to do all of it, but hopefully by the end of the day if there are no bugs or any issues I'll be done with the patch. I'll keep you guys updated if I find any issues.

Just for some clarity: 2.5 was released 60 days after 2.4. 2.6 was released 63 days later. 2.7 was released 73 days later. 2.8 was released 78 days later. 2.9 will be released between 63 and 66 days later. I'd say we are getting back on a somewhat normal bimonthly schedule if we see 2.9 within 24 to 48 hours. Therefore, I am hopeful we will see 6 patches in 2021!

as you can see on the pinned post above, the last patch was released on 30th of september. so if the next release would be the 7th-10th of december as estimated thats around 2months 1week+ which is not delayed at all.
