I would like to start writing a new “production report” from this time.
In case it will take some time to complete the work, I would like to post the current status of the work and samples of the work.
This time, the contents will be related to game development.

Recently, there has been a growing movement in various parts of Japan to subject “hypnosis” to regulations.
Because of this, I have recently been avoiding such expressions as situations in my videos and have suspended game development.
I had hoped to resume game development as soon as the restrictions are eased, but the situation is reversed and the restrictions are getting stronger.
For example, as you can see in the image above, the corresponding wording was forcibly replaced with "○○".(in Japan site Fantia)
This replacement was not executed by me, but was forced on its own.
In addition to this page, the replacement to "○○" has been made in all previous submissions.
I only became aware of this about a month or two ago, and this suggests that there may be further regulatory action in the future, depending on the situation.
As a creator myself, I am very disappointed that my range of expression will be limited, but I will accept it positively and continue to do what I can.
As the previous game was based on the main theme of "hypnosis" as the title suggests, I thought that the prospects for resuming production in the future were very slim due to this regulatory trend.
Therefore, I have decided to restart the game with a new main theme and system.
I apologize to those who enjoyed the previous game and were looking forward to the continuation of the game.

In conjunction with a fresh start in game development, I am considering the use of a new game production engine, as I would like to upgrade the main game system itself.
There have been a variety of game development engines in recent years, and I am still in the process of investigating various options, but I am considering using "BAKIN" as the most promising candidate at this time.
With this game engine, it is relatively easy to create so-called “HD-2D” style games such as Octopath Traveler.
By taking advantage of this, I hope to add the fun of actually operating and moving the characters, rather than just selecting scenarios as in the past.
(A detailed system proposal will be described later.)

This is a bit off topic, but I have been receiving many requests for Yui's toon rendering for some time now.
In addition, I thought that toon rendering would be a better match for the CG in the game.
So I started working on Yui's toon rendering in parallel with the game development.
Currently my main purpose is to use this in game CG, but in the future I would like to consider using it in MMD video productions.

In conventional games, the game player selects the location and content, and the corresponding scenario part starts. This was a very simple system that was easy to understand, but lacked reality.
In contrast, this time, as mentioned above, by using a new game engine, I would like to create a flow in which the player actually controls the characters, causes events to occur, and views the scenario.
Specifically, as shown in the image above, I am considering the following flow: in the "Search part" the user controls the character to move around, talk, collect items, etc., and when certain conditions are met, an event occurs, after which the user moves to the "Scenario part" where the scenario corresponding to the conditions starts to play out.
I expect that the addition of the “events occur when the game player controls the character to fulfill certain locations and conditions” will have the effect of adding depth to the situations and leading to emotional involvement.
I hope to consider adding mini-games and RPG elements to this basic system as I move forward with the production of the game.
As of now, I have only decided on the game production engine to be used, loaded the school's sample map, and made a tentatively created dotted Yui walk around.
Therefore, I am still a newcomer to this project, and I am still learning as I go.
So, I am aware that this is a project that will require a great deal of time before it becomes a reality to some degree.
Although I myself am completely uncertain about our specific future plans, I believe that it is important to move forward steadily and gradually.
I believe that through the accumulation of these efforts, I can eventually reach completion, so I would appreciate it if you could keep a long watchful eye on the project.
I hope to post the progress of the project in a production report like this one as soon as I have achieved a certain degree of success.
I am currently working on research and prototyping of "moving CG" like Live2D.
I hope you will look forward to seeing samples of these products soon.
In addition, while I may focus on game development for the time being, I would like to continue to produce video works in parallel, and as soon as there is progress, I would like to post a production report on that as well.

I created some images as a sample of Yui's toon rendering and as a reference for game images.
Samples other than the above images will be posted later on the making channel on Discord.

And, I have also created various sample CG difference patterns.

As I mentioned at the beginning, even though it is not the main theme of the game, I like this expression and situation so much that I hope to implement it in some way, and that is why I included it as a sample CG.
-Among the many CG patterns in bonus contents, I especially like "the scene where she spreads her blazer with an angry expression to show her boobs" and "the scene where she is completely naked with a hypnotized expression". Heh Heh
