Devlog: About the new version and the Android release

Weβre doing everything we can to release the new version and the Android version this month (or at least by the beginning of the next one).
I know there were previous requests about the technical side of development, so let me explain why thereβs been a delay with the Android version.
Those who played the rebuilds or version 0.6 know we fixed many old issues there: we added full-screen mode, the option to enter your own protagonist name, and so on.
Among our priorities were the H-scenes, some of which were buggy in older versions (especially the one with Rosa). We found a way to make them lighter and less resource-intensive. And itβs noticeable on PC, in my opinion. But right before the release, we did a test run on Android andβ¦ NOTHING. Absolutely nothing worked.
Either the game wouldnβt launch at all, or it would start but run horrendously slowlyβdespite now being three times smaller in file size.
It turned out the issue wasβ¦ the sounds. Yes, the sounds and music were causing Android to lag. We fixed that part, but then the new animations wouldnβt work. Even though we found the cause, we now need to rebuild all the scenes to fix it.
The main takeaway: we know how to fix it, and weβre not abandoning the Android version.
