[Extra] What am I?

“I think I got used to it, I mean, to being bullied when I went to college. It doesn’t happen anymore, not after all these years, but the past is the past. My classmates mocked me for being the redneck girl, the only one coming from the countryside, raised in a farm, and they were all from here, those bastards, born and raised in the big city. It was hard to outsmart them. I guess being different is always tough. As tough as it gets.”

“Opening up is never easy, Epona. You’re brave for telling me this,” said Dr. Ximenes, right in front of her. This wasn’t her first session, and it wouldn’t be her last. “What did you say about outsmarting them?”

“I don’t know… It was like I had no privacy. I had this weird dream once, and I told it to one of them. I thought she was my friend back then, but she told it to everyone in class… Anyway, after a while I felt like there was nobody I could talk to.

“What would you like to tell them if you could do this today?”

“I’m not sure… It was a long time ago…”

“A secret?”

“It’s nothing, really… I’m not ready to talk about these things yet, doctor. I’m sorry.”

“Everything is fine, Epona. I’ll be here when you feel it’s time to talk about this again. What about the weird dream? Do you still remember it?”

“Yes I do, actually… It was a wet dream.”

“Would you like to talk about it?”

“Yes, doctor. It’s still fresh in my memory.”

Hello, hello! Quaraci here!

Guys, I'm so happy this month (plus, I've got some quality free time to paint) that I'd like to post a second extra painting! Yaaaaaay! I really wanted to finish this sketch. It's a simple composition, but there's something really delicate, almost naive, about Epona as she explores her new body, so I wanted it to be part of one of her dreams from her first year in Rio, as a college student.
