override of the music channel with lofi hip hop
Added 2024-07-09 12:32:05 +0000 UTCupd. 8.07.24: I'm attaching a short version of this override. in the main file, each song lasts about 2,5 minutes, in the short version it is about 30-40 seconds. I did this because there was a case when the player's game crashed while using a long override. I tested this on different lots and with different numbers of sims, and I didn't have that problem. but just in case, I made a lighter file so that you could switch to it if necessary.
and I found out that the music channel is in the base game, but to make it appear, you need to update your TV. if you use the "TurnOnTV" mod listed below, it will automatically unlock the music channel.
I made this little override so that my sims could do their daily chores under lo-fi, just like me💓
the mod replaces the music channel with three songs from lo-fi hip-hop radio. compositions and picture were taken from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7GvvbD6S2Y&t=76s (first three songs)
I advise to use this override with the mod: TurnOnTV by SHEnanigans, MizoreYukii
it allows you to leave the tv on. I can’t play without it, I recommend it to everyone.

could you tell me the name and creator of the mod? but in general if that mod only overrides movies then there should be no conflict the main thing is that the other mod does not replace the music channel

So basically, what happens is that (with the mod placed in folder) the game will run just fine, as long as the music channel is not running. however, the moment the music channel is playing, the game will run for a bit and then crash completely. Mind you, i had a total of 7 sims on a lot as well, with two pets. Once i took the mod out, the game worked just fine.
