ANTH JAMES FC26: V2 FULL GAMEPLAY PACKAGE' RELEASE!!!!!! LIFT OFF!!!!!🚀ALL NEW STANDALONES: 🏁SLOW FLOW &🔥FLUID FLOW. ✅100+ NEW OPTIONS!! MAJOR RELEASE!! #TU1.2.0

🚨EDIT 14/11: This was originally released earlier and has been re-exported to work with EA's latest #TU1.2.0.

There have been a couple new options added. These included an 'Alternative Attack' option and also 'Original Setpieces' option. The set pieces option allows you to revert back to when more players would get into the box for corners!

⚠️EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: EA's constant title updates are proving difficult to navigate right now. The update they released last week (4/11 or so) and this week, has proved to dramatically change the tempo and decision making of the CPUAI.

These particular changes have taken place under the hood entirely, beneath where I'm able to reach.

These changes are overriding my own in some regards and are making the CPU play at quite a fast tempo, with too much tika-taka and passive behaviour.

My plan was to make some adjustments before releasing the V2 #TU1.2.0, but the work required is going to take days and possibly weeks to get on top of.

I'm very much working on it, but I'm going to need more time to figure out what's going on here and try to get to the bottom of it.

Whilst it isn’t strictly all the time, please understand that this fast tempo and overall behaviour is NOT RELATED TO MY MOD and is entirely something coming from EA's end.

Something I recommend to help in the meantime is to adjust the CPU SLIDERS.

I recommend playing First-Touch Passing Frequency quite low and the Build Up Speed to something around 85+. Increasing Shot Frequency can help too. Of course, tweak these as you prefer though.

You can always trust that I’m always going to be honest with you guys about where we’re at. I'm absolutely on it - but EA's constant updates going backwards and forwards are currently challenging, as things keep moving.

I can honestly say that FC26 with V2 is some of the most enjoyable football gaming I’ve experienced in years! ⚡

V2 sees the mod take some major steps forward.

✨ FC26 Philosophy

Before we get to the V2 details, I want to touch on my overall approach to the FC26 gameplay mod — and why it’s different from what you’ll find elsewhere.

While aesthetics are important (and always an area I spend a lot of time on), my main focus is on how the game plays.

Every standalone in FC26 has been carefully tuned to look and feel like real football.

There is a huge emphasis on player individuality - in every way you can imagine.

A major part of my design philosophy is finding the perfect balance between attack and defence.

My mod is designed so that there’s always risk and reward in your decisions.

🌟 For example, when defending positioning and timing are everything. You can’t rely on unrealistic recoveries if you’re caught out - there are real consequences. Try and press with the wrong team and you’ll quickly see that you don’t have the players to do it effectively!

These are the sort of details that make every match feel authentic, challenging, and deeply satisfying.

I know not every animation transition in FC is perfect, but don’t judge purely by the visuals.

Play it and you will feel it.

You’ll quickly see why this way of playing FC26 is deeply immersive and enjoyable!

💥WHAT’S NEW IN V2?

Ok, let’s look at what’s NEW in V2!

Remember, V2 is still a CHECKPOINT RELEASE. There are still many areas yet to be worked on - and there is much more to come!

Introducing TWO All-New Standalones:

🏁SLOW FLOW + 🔥FLUID FLOW

Each of these new standalones are built with two key factors in mind:

Grounded Realism & Fluid Functionality.

👉 Realism doesn’t have to mean rigid and sluggish - it can be measured and responsive.

These standalones are for those who love slow and smooth gameplay, but don’t want to make the game clunky and unintuitive.

🟩REMEMBER -> A standalone is an ALL-IN-ONE gameplay mod. Each standalone features its own unique movement base. These two new standalones are added in addition to V2 Regular and V2 Slow.

Each of these standalones are built with realism in mind - they all just lean into particular areas.

🏁 SLOW FLOW:

The slowest of my FC26 standalones: built for those who ESPECIALLY love slower gameplay.

🔥FLUID FLOW:
Fluid Flow features a slightly faster speed build-up compared to Slow Flow, plus some additional balances to create even more of a fluid feel.

It’s designed for those who want to keep that grounded, tight movement - but want to feel that extra bit of intensity.

Both new standalones are built from a grounded movement base.

Every turn and movement will feel tighter than ever before.

Importantly, every player still has the freedom to sprint, giving gameplay a dual sense of pace - slow and deliberate when needed, sharp and intense when it matters most.

You will notice the acceleration when using the sprint button and you can really feel the different layers of acceleration as players move from a jog to a sprint. The left-stick movement tuning is intentional - it anchors the grounded feel and helps to smooth out the animations.

This has a knock-on impact in all areas of gameplay, including defensively. You have to be more precise than ever when considering your defensive position or you can be caught out.

⚠ If you’re not sure - try it and see if it’s for you. If not, there’s plenty of realistic movement bases you can choose from in my mod. For players preferring more responsive control, the SLOW and REGULAR versions offer familiar pacing and are still very much built on a realistic foundation.

🚨IMPORTANT:
These are not just ‘slow everything down’ mods. They are not clunky, thrown-together ‘experiments’. They are carefully constructed and the result of literally 100s of test builds to reach a stage of refinement and balance - in all areas, with all players.

🛑PLEASE REMEMBER:
EACH STANDALONE BRINGS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE.

There are many ways my mod can look and feel. Don’t judge the entire mod based on one clip or one experience.

They ALL are unique in terms of FEEL, BEHAVIOUR and DIFFICULTY!

Take the time to try different standalones and find the one that suits you best!

🎯 IMPROVEMENTS TO THE STANDALONE

V2 also sees a number of important improvements to the standalone. These include:

✅Balanced animation and movement tuning in all standalones. These are designed to also increase the fluidity and differentiation of players based on their abilities.

✅Refined passing and ball physics. I have made some particular changes to refine passing smoothness. The V1 ‘Increased Roll’ option is now built into the standalone (with the V1 ball roll now available as ‘Ball Physics - Reduced Roll - Subtle’ Option).

✅Overhit CPU corners fixed. The issue of the CPU overhitting corners is now fixed!

✅Enhanced midfield tracking and clearer role differentiation. Specific changes designed to ensure that midfielders track with more intention. Some particular midfield player roles are now more defensively aware than they were in V1.

✅Personalised passing speeds to reflect standalone.

Each standalone now features distinct passing speeds (and shooting speeds in the Flow standalones).

🔺Regular = Regular pass speed
🔺Slow = Slow pass speed
🔺Fluid Flow = Slow pass speed & Reduced shot speed.
🔺Slow Flow = Extra slow passing & Reduced shot speed.

NOTE: You can adjust these via options in the Full Gameplay Package also.

✅Attribute-driven shooting errors. V2 sees the introduction of shooting errors into the standalone. These are balanced based on different shot types and player ability. NOTE: This is a fairly light application. For those wanting to take this further, explore the ‘Shooting Errors Option’ in the Full Gameplay Package.

✅More individualised partial-team pressing. For those who use the partial team pressing mechanic, it is now more tailored based on attributes - all adding more personality to the off-ball side of the game.

💥 MAJOR FULL GAMEPLAY PACKAGE EXPANSION!!!!!!

A huge feature of the V2 Full Gameplay Package is the introduction of over 100+ all-new options,
allowing unprecedented customisation to your gameplay experience.

Here’s just a small look at SOME of the new options:

Positioning Alternatives. Your positioning base has a HUGE impact on your overall
gameplay experience. It impacts the game in ways you aren’t even aware of.

I have introduced a large range of positioning alternatives in V2 - allowing you to
customise and refine your gameplay to suit your style. These alternatives are built very
carefully and specifically to provide you with a particular experience.

For those wanting to have a more tight and robust midfield experience, you can achieve
this via a number of the new additions. I have also included a large number of
combination alternatives, allowing you to join these together to create unique
experiences.

The positioning alternatives in V2 are:

🔺 Compact - Moderate
🔺 Ball-Side Subtle
🔺 Compact Box
🔺 Narrow Defensive Line
🔺 Slightly Narrow Defensive Line
🔺 More Pressing

Don’t forget that there’s a carefully balanced positioning system already built into the
standalone. These options provide you with alternatives to that system!

Be sure to read the POSITIONING ALTERNATIVES PDF for a full breakdown of these
options.

💡TIP: Use the following options for a very compact experience (you can refine this
even more via combinations). This is designed for those who play longer halves and
want a much more robust midfield:

🔸PA - Compact - Moderate
🔸Compact Lines - Strong (remember to set your line length slider to 49/49).
🔸FC IQ - Everyone Defends Option (Updated)

Compact Lines - Strong & Subtle & Open Line Adjustments

Sitting outside of these positioning alternatives are the ‘COMPACT LINES’ and ‘OPEN
LINES’ options.

These can be used WITH any positioning alternative if you want to condense the space
between the lines even further (or open it up).

The Compact Lines option will result in your team dropping deeper on defence than
they would without these options for example, so if that’s something that you value, then
consider using those options as well.

⚠It’s CRUCIAL however, that you read the ‘READ ME’ file in each folder to set this up
correctly. If you fail to do so, the option will have zero impact on your gameplay.

Shooting Error Options

This option adds a lot of personality to your gameplay. It is a more extensive version of
shooting errors than you will find in the V2 standalone.

This has been carefully crafted and is based on a number of factors including attributes,
pressure, balance, ball height, shot type and more.

Increased Defensive Reactions

A great option for those wanting to increase the overall difficulty of the gameplay. This is
still very much scaled based on player ability, but sees an overall bump in defensive
reactions.

Reduced Defensive Reactions

An option designed for those who want to take the edge off. It can be used to reduce a
particular difficulty level or take out some intensity from your gameplay experience.

Increased Marking Intensity

Using this option will result in defenders who are able to track faster, cover space more
effectively and mark tighter.

This is still very much scaled based on stats as well and is a good option for anyone
finding the game too easy.

If you're looking for more of a challenge, I recommend using the 'Increased Marking
Intensity + Increased Defensive Reactions' option combined.

Increased Elite Defender Option (Updated)

I have updated this option since V1. Use this option if you want to tighten up the
defensive side of the game when playing against 80+ defenders. This option takes the
same reaction times from the 'Increased Defensive Reactions' option but only applies
them to defenders rated 80+.

Using this option will create the BIGGEST difference between high rated and low rated
defenders (even more so than the standalone).

No AutoTackle Option

Use this option if you want to remove EA's 'AutoTackle' feature. Using this option will
make tackling much less forgiving. Some will find this very frustrating, so please only
use this if you like what it brings!

Easier Tackling Option

This option is for those wantomg to increase the automation and reach in tackling and
make it more forgiving in general.

MULTIPLE GOALKEEPING OPTIONS: STRONG, WEAK, VERY WEAK

FC IQ - Everyone Defends Option (Updated)

This option has been updated from V1 to be more effective.

FC IQ - Falseback Balanced - Attack

Use this option if you want the FC IQ player role of 'Falseback - Balanced' to behave
more like a 'Falseback - Attack' role. This option will result in the Falseback being much
more attacking on the ball - but still aware of his defensive duties.

Note: It will drain stamina more.

Attacking Run Frequency Options (10 Variantsl)

The below list shows the order of options from LEAST runs to MOST runs.

🔺Slightly Increased

Attacking Reaction Times - Increased

This option encourages attackers to begin making runs earlier and when at lower
speeds.

Increased Attacking Aggression Option

This option will result in more triggers for the AI to move in attack, both getting closer to
the ball carrier and making more off-ball movements as well.

This option will bring out more 'controlled chaos'.

Pass Speed Isolation Options (Slightly Faster, Regular, Slow, Extra Slow)

These options allow you to MIX and MATCH passing speeds from what’s included in
each standalone version. Use these if you want to use a DIFFERENT passing speed in
combination with your standalone. Also included is a unique Pass Speed Option -
Slightly Faster.

Reduced Shot Speed Option - Strong

A stronger version of the Reduced Shot Speed options.

Increased Dribble Separation Option

Use this option if you want to increase the separation between the ball and
dribbler further from what it is in the standalone. This can create some really nice
freedom and loose balls.

Ball Physics - Heavier Flight + Extras

Those using the ‘Heavier Flight’ ball physics can now customise the size of the ball
whilst still being able to use these adjusted physics.

CPU Attacking Decision Making Alternative

Increased Dribble Aggression Option
