If you're new to my gameplay mods entirely, then this document is especially for you. If you’ve been around for a while - there is still plenty of useful information regarding the roadmap for my FC26 gameplay mod!
The most important part of any football game is the gameplay. ⚽🎮 This is my specialty and my sole focus.
In a world where football gaming isn’t suited towards realism, I'm all in on getting every last % out of the gameplay for you. I can promise that you'll get the strongest attention to detail with my gameplay mods across all areas of gameplay.
My gameplay mods are the result of years of learning and thousands of hours of work. They have been built entirely from the ground up, and they are all my own original work. I don't just change a bunch of values and publish - every decision is made for a reason and is carefully tested and balanced.
I should point out that when explaining my features, I use language that’s easy to understand and relatable. I don’t throw out a bunch of numbers and file names that mean little to you.
Please don’t mistake this for a lack of detail in my work. I can assure you, you will experience the details when you play the game. Every feature in my mods is thoroughly tested, balanced, and demonstrated in actual gameplay.
To be very clear, this mod is something I actively work on every single day. It’s not something that I made months ago and then simply re-export the same thing over and over again. This is something I’m ALWAYS working on, improving, and looking to advance.
I’ve created these documents to ensure you have all the information you need to get started in one place. I know there’s a bit of information here, but it’s very important you take the time to read through and gain an understanding.

🧭 FC26: Gameplay Mod Roadmap
Gameplay modding is not the same as visual modding. When a new game is released, I don’t just copy and paste my old mod into the new title - that’s actually the worst thing I can do. It creates chaos and inconsistency.
Instead, every year I rebuild from the ground up, using fresh reference points. This takes a lot of time - and it cannot be rushed. Of course, the experience I’ve gained over the years helps massively, but the foundation is always new.
Those who know my work know I’m extremely detailed and thorough. Every single change is tested and balanced. I never rely solely on numbers on a screen - I test on the pitch to ensure the difference is real and tangible before making any claims.
🔑 Trust the Process
The mod is built gradually. I work on it every single day, for many hours, relentlessly pushing to get the absolute maximum out of gameplay. If anyone thinks I just ‘throw it together’, they’re mistaken.
All I ask is patience and logic - let the process take place.
Quality is ALWAYS the priority.
Take my FC25 mod as an example: it started with a few test adjustments and grew into the largest gameplay mod ever released. By the end, it included:
30+ all-in-one standalone mods
600+ customisation options (covering every element of gameplay)
15+ presets (bundled options for quick ‘styles’)
To be clear, this doesn’t mean the first versions of my FC26 mod will be ‘bad’ at all. It simply means the mod will evolve over time. Each iteration improves, develops, and grows - with your feedback also playing a big role.
If the ceiling could be reached in just a few weeks, I wouldn’t pour months and months of effort into this. The game’s release marks the start of my work, not the end - please remember that!

🧠 Mentality
I want to share my mindset when approaching gameplay modding. I’m not blind to issues or negative mechanics. In fact, I’ve spent years analysing them, highlighting them and working to improve them.
I know the nuances of FIFA/FC gameplay. I’ve also been playing PES games for decades. I know what to look for and what needs fixing. I consider this one of my biggest strengths.
To be clear: I’m not here to complain about issues. I’m here to work and to do something about them! This is my mentality always.
✨ In short: trust the process, give it time. Know that I’ll keep pushing every single day to deliver the best possible gameplay experience.

🔑 Basic Overview
If you’re new to my mod, here’s how it’s structured. If you’ve followed my work before, you’ll know I always build around three core elements:
🟥 Standalones
🟩 Options (Full Gameplay Package only)
🟪 Presets (Full Gameplay Package only)
🟥 Standalone Mod (The Foundation)
A Standalone is a complete, all-in-one gameplay mod. You don’t need to tweak anything - just plug and play.
This is the foundation of my work and the single most important part of my overhaul. Each Standalone is a full rebuild from the ground up, not just a few tweaks. They deliver a distinct gameplay style with carefully crafted changes.
⚠️ Important: In the early stages, some areas may not be touched yet. I don’t make changes just for the sake of it - I only adjust gameplay once I’ve studied, tested, and confirmed how I can improve it. Please allow time for this process before drawing conclusions.
Different Standalones
As the mod progresses, multiple Standalones will be available. Their differences mainly come down to:
Movement speeds & animation balance
Passing speeds & balance
Every other element remains identical across standalone versions. This way, you can choose the version that best fits your preferred gameplay style: slower and more methodical, faster and more fluid, or somewhere in between.
🟩 Options (Fine-Tuning Your Experience)
Options allow you to customise every element of gameplay to match your vision of realism.
These build up over time - my FC25 mod grew from a handful of options to 600+ adjustments.
‼️ Key things to know about Options:
✅ They are optional adjustments, not requirements. The Standalone already includes deep gameplay changes.
✅ You must always use one Standalone (and only one) at a time.
✅ Options cannot be used without a Standalone - they’re built to integrate directly into its systems.
Think of Options as tools to tailor your gameplay further. I strongly recommend starting with the Standalone alone first to understand its baseline feel. Only then add Options that align with the experience you want.
🟪 Presets (Instant Gameplay Styles)
If you want to shape your gameplay quickly without manually testing Options one by one, Presets are the way to go.
Each Preset bundles a collection of Options designed to create a specific gameplay style. For example, a Short Halves Preset could apply adjustments that keep matches balanced and realistic in a shorter timeframe.
⚠️ Presets may not be available right away - but just like the options, they’ll be developed and fleshed out over time.
🧩 Navigating the Mod – No Experience Needed
Whether you’re brand new or a modding veteran, the mod is designed to be easy to use. Inside you’ll find:

✅ Detailed “READ ME” files in every folder explaining exactly what each Option and Preset does
Everything is written for simplicity, so you can be up and running in minutes.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE: The mod will only be confusing if you skip the documentation. Gameplay systems are complex, so to get the most from the mod you must take the time to read the provided material. I’ve simplified things as much as humanly possible - now it’s up to you to do the reading. If you don’t, then you are going to be extremely uninformed about key elements. You will draw the wrong conclusions and you won’t find the gameplay you are searching for! I’ve done my best to communicate this to you - the rest is up to you!
