He lives in a world of Witches and Wizards and magic styles are heavily gendered so All people who use witch magic are 'female' and all that use Wizard magic are 'male' and while he's 'male' he is born with Witch magic and has to navigate society while still wanting to be a great magic user blah blah. He doesn't have a name yet.
