That intro was about the story that they were talking about when looking at the stars/moon at the start of the season. "Princess Kaguya who was born from the moon, send his lover an inmortality potion but he didnt take it because was useless to live without her". But Shirogane said that he would take the potion and find a way to go to the moon with her.
