2017-07-31 11:23:41 +0000 UTCGood to know you've got it working again. You'll want to check to see whether it's a particular ram slot, or a particular stick of ram that's the issue. It might even just be the combo. Also, if you get no beeps from the PC it means you haven't got a motherboard speaker plugged in. Less useful now you have it working, but it's generally good to get yourself a motherboard speaker (they're super cheap) because the beep codes can often tell you exactly what's wrong. It's one of the parts that people often just ignore, and often you don't even get one and nobody ever buys them separately.

But since there's no alarm sound at the start, it really seems to be the power supply or its connection to the mainboard. Someone who is familiar with computer hardware can probably identify the problem directly on this machine. XOXO

2017-07-30 10:51:33 +0000 UTCHopefully you can make it work but don't worry if not. if re-seating the ram doesn't work you could try the same with graphics card, sata connections, ssd if you have one.
