SR3D vs 3DIO
Added 2017-05-14 14:05:21 +0000 UTCI dont know if you already know about this new SR3D mic from the UK? I am thinking about getting it :D Its like the 3dio, very similar sound (psychetruthasmr did a comparison video). Since its from the UK I wont need to pay insane import costs or anything.
Was just wondering what you guys think about this mic? I really love how sharp the sound is, as I dont like the 3dio that much but I do love this one.

2017-05-15 05:27:21 +0000 UTCAs it turns out I'm getting the sr3d xlr. I should have it this week. I originally bought the cheaper sr3d, but it had a problem. I honestly think I fried it by putting the battery in backwards which they have fixed the circuitry so you won't fry the mics. So to reward me for waiting for a new one Allan is sending me the XLR version.

2017-05-14 18:23:37 +0000 UTCJust watched Corrina's video, the SR3D does sound more clear and slightly better at picking up very quiet whispering. But, I think if the sounds are louder, you might not notice a difference. They're both very similar. :)

2017-05-14 15:55:18 +0000 UTCLooks to use the same mics (Primo EM172) and has XLR connectors so in theory is perfect. Having said that one of the best properties of the 3Dio are it's big ears. But it is expensive so...

2017-05-14 15:07:59 +0000 UTCwell I ordered it. Lol I couldn't resist and wait. Putting the patreon money to good use. I think it will be good for some roleplays as well as I can place my camera on top of it instead of having to place it infront of it like with the binaural dummy head.
